Gore was having a shitty game too why was nobody yelling for Dixon?
After that second fumble he should have been benched for Dixon or Westbrook, atleast for a few plays to get his head right.

The first one he was hit on the side, it would have been very hard for anyone to hold onto that, but the second no excuse.

The crowd booing is what fired Alex Smith up to begin with.
Either that or Sing chewing him up on the sidelines

See a pattern with Alex Smith games? He does ok the first 3 quarters, but not good enough to win. Once the 9ers are down by 3 scores then somehow Alex Smith drives the ball downfield. Why? Because both the offensive playbook opens up (go with the spread from the beginning and quit trying to run up the middle with no creativity) and the defense softens up. Plus he's more under pressure to score and has to do something.

Why not do that shit every series? Before last night's game I've never really seen as good of passing by Alex Smith (tight spirals, leading the receiver pretty good, etc...) but somehow he still manages to fuck up bigtime.

Alex Smith's inconsistency + our shitty coaching staff + mis-tackling D = 0-5.
I was suprised we tried a toss to the weak side when I saw it my face was like :O

but it didn't work, so then most of the runs went up the middle.

I'd love to see us run out of the gun on a delayed hand off with the field spread, something different from just banging it up the middle in predictable run formations.

Sing is 0-5 now, no other nfl team would take him if he got fired this week or next at 0-5 or 0-6, so obviously his philosiphy is not working yet he keeps banging his head on the wall hoping for a different outcome. Play to Smith's strengths, spread the field and give him options alot more.

Do something

You have to throw Alex Smith under the bus..he's the fucking QB!!!!

and also throw Singletary under the bus as well for not making changes...

i mean Gore fumbling twice? fucking twice! what would i have done? I'd put Westbrook or Dixon in and let Gore think about those two fumbles .....

We have some great running backs...but Gore needs to stop thinking he gonna be the star all the time..he hasn't done so much either.......

Alex Smith has a shit load of key players..Morgan, Davis, Crabtree, Zeigler...and he doesn't utilize them at all....all I see is him going after 1 player..he needs to throw it to everybody..

Besides Alex Smith fucking up the game yesterday..he also had a great numbers...300+ yds 3 TD's ...but he just too fucking inconsistent...

Frank Gore & The 49er defense are the most disspaointing things about the team to me. I expected Alex Smith to be Alex Smith. He is not a good NFL QB, never has been, never will be. But he is not the reason why the team is 0-5. Frank Gore has ONE 100 hard game and a gang of fumbles.....and the defense has been soft and unreliable all year. Spread the blame yall it ain't just Smith.

true but they are trying to use him like M. Faulk out of the backfield like previously mentioned. He's got only one 100+ yard rushing game but he's not used just for rushing.

I understand that, but using him like M. Faulk doesn't work if you don't have Kurt Warner throwing it to him. Frank Gore has more of an impact as a running back than a receiver. Yall dont need anymore receivers you need a running game to take the ball out of Smith's hands.

There's no way you called this without a slab of hate influencing you. Nothing about this team suggested this would happen and you know it.

But since you're clearly here to gloat, go for it. You were right. Props. Right on. Good job. You get an 'A.' Outstanding.

By the way, I told you all JaMarcus Russell would bust from the beginning and I also told you Campbell wouldn't do as well in Oakland as he did in Washington. Where's my cookie and props?
You don't get shit, because I called it first.

Having a running team ain't gonna win you shit? Do you watch football? It ain't too many great QBs in the league, but it's a plethora of elite running backs. Of course you need a solid QB or at least a steady one to win, but to say running the ball ain't needed is retarded. Please name me a super bowl winning team that didn't have a running game.....Even the pass happy Saints last year had a balance running attack that rushed for 1900plus yards combined. You can't win without a running game, the Niners are evidence to that.

Yea its not only Smith, its the WHOLE fucking team. Watch we go 0-13 then win the last 3 meaningless games and shoot ourselves in the foot again to lose the #1 draft pick.

Fuck the number one pick, I never want that again, its embarrassing, We got VD at 6 Willis at 12 and Staley was hella late in the 1st, so i see no reason to give up on the season so we can be recognized as the worst team in football

Did we watch the same game?
I don't know what you watched, but I was AT the game. While I didn't participate in the booing or the Carr chants, I understand why the majority of the crowd did.

I heard boos and Carr chants right after the return fumble TD, when we had possession and a chance to capitalize.
A chance to capitalize on WHAT? A 2 touchdown deficit? Seriously?

Fired up Alex Smith? It was a blown possession right after because it turned into an Eagles home game!
The possession following the loudest boos I've ever heard resulted in the first of 2 TDs.

How much time was left on the board?!
Does it matter? Did you see how the team looked at that point? Nobody saw any sort of comeback in that team if they continued playing the way they were and I firmly believe they would have if the crowd didn't get on their asses, especially Alex Smith.

AS got pissed because Singletary told him straight up "You got this much time left on the board and the game in your hands, what are you going to do about it?
He got pissed because he was about to get benched. He was about to get benched because the fans were booing him out of the stadium. Make the connection.

Horrible timing for chanting shit, game wasn't over.
Give me a break. The game was done. Without those chants and boos, Alex doesn't start playing aggressively at the end of the game and we lose by 17 instead of 3.

You must not be watching the same Alex Smith as everyone else.

Turning into the eagles 12th man pissed me off and should piss off any true Niner.
A lot of true Niner fans were participating in those boos.

By the way, the crowd made no more noise during the 49ers' offensive snaps than it usually does, so I don't know where you get this Eagles 12th man bullshit. Do you even know how the 12th man benefits a defense?

dude you are such a bitch.. giving up on the season??? that is something 49er fans would do.. thats some straight faggot shit bro.. That aint the mentality of a real football player or fan..
Shut your goofy-looking ass up you dumb son of a bitch.

I was asking a question that has to do with the future of the 49ers franchise. I know things like this fly over your head, but sustained success is more important than winning a few games just to say you won so you can gloat on a fucking message board. I know looking into the future is probably an overload on your brain, but that's what we're discussing here so if you can't handle it, get the fuck on.

On top of that, I said I would continue to root for and support this team.

Also the 9ers are known for having great drafts and gettin value in the late rounds ex Goldson and Josh Morgan
The Niners USED TO BE known for getting great value in the later rounds - when Bill Walsh was here. The only "later" round pick that was a hit lately was Frank Gore in the 3rd and Anthony Dixon looks like he might be something special in the 6th. Goldson and Morgan are both overrated, but Morgan is decent value for a 6th rounder
