LOL!!!! @ blowing it out of content and no, trust me I would not let my son wear skinny jeans & no, I'm not a Lil B fan LOL!!!!
Good, we agree there.
I'm simply stating that we don't have to like it to respect it, but it's become a big street issue like it was 2004 and street cred was of actual value now a days. Plus Ghetto Graduate cheer leading along the way LOL
Good, we agree there.
I can respect the fact that he is thinking outside the box and doing what most won't. But that does not mean I would do that or support it. I don't respect attention seeking people that will sell their soul for a dollar. You may, but I don't.
Seriously, I feel you Breh, seriously I do. By that same token I also understand entertainment, but to each his / her own on their personal perspective. Although, it's entertainment so it is nothing to take to heart as a lot of these people in here do, but again...
Never that (as in taking it to heart). I am simply saying a dude calling himself a faggot or anything else just for attention is not the type of dude I would support or fuck with, bottomline. Entertainment, friendship, business, ANYTHING.
With that being said I sat and watched, "Boyz N The Hood" with my 8 year old son last year. As a father I guided him through the film and he, on his own picked up on the positive side which impressed me.
The following month he again made student of the month & is at the top of his class, your guessing right I'm proud. Very proud.
I watch shit like Ringo, Diary of a Wimpy kid, etc. with my son. I rather him enjoy kid shit for as long as possible. No need to worry about Boyz in the Hood at 8. I mean really.
Now, I see how people come in here and get bent trying to bury the truth, but love it or hate it. Agree with it or not, it's happening.
What's happening? Some wierd little fad that will die out and dudes will feel stupid when they grow up. Yeah, that is happening for sure.
The use of the word "faggotry" which is not even a word to begin with... makes those look ignorant. I honestly feel if your going to fight for something you believe in, you at least know how to speak proper rather than to say something ignorant and be treated as such.
LOL at taking it so literal. C'mon bro, ain't you calling the kettle black like a motherfucker here???? I beleive in the truth, period.
Those type of attack modes (be intelligent) go back to our civil rights leaders, but in today's world they want to solve it with ignorant words and quickly resort to violence.
Violence gets people's attention and makes them think twice about being disrespectful. No real man, civil rights leader, etc. supports faggotry.lol
I wouldn't disrespect Lil B and I would introduce my son to him just like I would to Killa Tay, AP9 or C-Bo as the men they are. Somebody in the world has something negative to say about any of them, but that's not for me to judge. And that's what I teach my son.
I wouldn't either. I would just keep it moving.
Trust me, I have been judged my whole life and still to this day have an issue with it. But that is the way of the walk in our society. All bullshit aside, my son reflects me as the parent I am, just like your son does you. I know better, hence, I have to do better and I am. Giving him vision to steer clear away from trends and other fake shit is my job/choice, and I take it seriously. If someone wants to let their kid wear skinny jeans, call himself a pretty bitch, that is on them. I don't condone that shit.
