A whole lot of you sound like 90's babies. Gay? LMAO!!!!!!!! The majority of 80's musicians turned out to be gay & to this very day, their music is CLASSIC!
Their sexual preference doesn't matter to the rest of the world. If they have great music the world accepts & loves it.
Freddie Mercury of Queen which they are now filming a movie on his life, does the world care? Nope, the man was a musical genius.
Jim Morison of The Doors claimed to be gay (but wasn't) just avoid enlisting in the military. Yet, his music is legendary.
I'm not saying Lil B's music is of that caliber, nor am I a fan. What I am saying is, no matter how much people disagree, the majority of the world doesn't give a shit about any artist sexual preference, nor takes every lyric serious.
As for the whole blowing up thing. There are different levels, but this just happens to be Lil B. So, MTV, Bad Boy, XXL is not blowing up on a major level somebody tell me what is.
If your references are to a 2Pac, Biggie, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne level then everybody in the game should know & understand them days are way behind us.
BUT!!!!!!! Had it been somebody else in the Bay on Lil B's level, everybody's tune would be different. It'd be a complete 360 just like when 40 had "Tell me when to go" in rotation on MTV.
MTV seemed to be a big thing and a definite sign of blowing up then.
