Sorry to say man but usually when they put cameras in places that move cash they will put them in a spot where they can see stuff like this. My girl worked at a bank and they had cameras on every drawer there. Id give the shit back so you don't gotta deal with cops and the mess. Plus they have to balance the drawers at the end of every day so thats prolly why she stopped by your place. But whatever you do good luck with that shit.

Did I miss the part where her boss had no clue that she was going to stop by his house?

I just look at it like this.....what comes around goes around and its a fucked up world. by keeping that money, you are sealing your fate to never come up on shit again in your life. Thats why I said in my last post to give the money back and start buying scratcher. By being the better person now, you will be rewarded 10 fold in your life. Unless $400 dollars is enough for you.

I must say there have been some good points made in this thread though, and if it was me, this thread would have made me at least think about keeping the money...lol....

ok wait...so are you saying she NEVER once counted the money out in front of you?? just handed you a stack of bills and let it be?

first things cops will ask you is why didnt you count money there? what if she would have given you a bunch of ones under the top $100??? shorted you by $200 how would you prove she did that then?

they will flip the script on you.

I doubt the surveillance video clearly shows $900 in your hand.

You cant be charged with any crime because you lacked the intent necessary to convict.
Crimes require an act, and an intent.......you didnt really have either. You wernt aware you had an extra 450. No crime took place

The only thing the check cashing place can do is sue you for it.
But it was their own employees negligence that caused the mixup

lol, i learned this shit in law school

If you want, i can look up some similar cases and see how they turned out
ROLFMAO!

Please tell me your dumb ass didn't just say you were in Law School...LOL!

Especially considering what you said makes absolutely no fucking sense.

So you're telling me that if I cause an act of vehicular manslaughter they can't arrest me because I never had intent of killing the victim?

Or if I accidentally run a red light the cop can't do shit about it because I never had the intent?

Or if I fuck your underaged little sister because the slut told me she was 19 then I can't get no stat rape charges because to my knowledge I wasn't trying to rape a young bitch?

GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!

And for the record: a law class at a community college does not equal Law School you dumb fuck.

great legal analysis from mexcom

you are stupid as fuck.

Manslaughter involves other factors to make up for the lack of intent, like reckless or criminally negligent behavior
Less serious crimes, like larceny REQUIRE INTENT for criminal liability. If i mistakenly take your welfare check off the table thinking its actually my paycheck, i wouldnt be criminally liable because i was acting in good faith thinking the check was mine.

running a red light and fucking an underage girl are statutory and dont require intent.

and yes, i am in LAW SCHOOL

here, taken from my outlines:
ii. Reckless Manslaughter (act+death+recklessness)
1. A conscious disregard
2. of a substantial and unjustifiable risk of harm

iii. Involuntary Manslaughter/Negligent Homicide under Model Penal Code (Act+death+negligence)
1. Criminal Negligence
a. No conscious disregard of
b. A substantial and unjustifiable risk of harm
i. The risk is so substantial and unjustified that it would be shocking to allow the actors lack of awareness as an excuse to their conduct.
c. Even though a reasonable person would have known about the risk
i. Gravity of harm that foreseeably would result from the defendant’s conduct
ii. The probability of such harm occurring
iii. The burden on the defendant of stopping the risky conduct.
iv. Misdemeanor Manslaughter
1. Instead of felony you have a misdemeanor
2. That results in death

Look

If it ever really came down to it, how could she prove you didn't give her the money when she showed up at your house?????

She can't

As far as I know, you gave her the money when she showed up at your door.

Case closed.

Sorry dude...when you hand somebody a check that says $450, and they give you $900, that person is a fuckin jerkoff. I have no sympathy for people that can't count. Blame it on computers, WHATEVER! The fact is, the check says $450, and you gave the person $900! Any normal human eye can catch that error.
Understandable......Thats when someone has the choice to hand the money back and let her know she's slippin....Maybe tell the manager what took place, but i wouldnt want to throw someone under the bus but that is an option.....She could have mistaken the 100's for 20's, whatever the reason may be....It was a mistake that should not be made where money transactions take place........So i understand the point of view of keeping the money but dont agree with it.......

What kind of mistake is that? These people don't give a fuck about me or the mouths I have to feed, so why should I give a fuck about them or theirs? That's just the way life is, pimp. If you're too stupid, you get left the fuck back. I have mouths to feed, I give a fuck about some dumb bitch that can't count.
And for the people who dont give a fuck about others thats on them.......Why do you have to bring yourself to their level.......This attitude is why people with genuine hearts go bad and then we pass this negativity around.....Its a cycle that we can prevent......

i knew i was gonna have to find a new check cashing place as soon as i got home...its not like i care about the fuckin 3 employees there...and givin back 400 bucks it easier said than done, i can live wit being a douche...how many people in the world would say "excuse me miss. you accidentally gave me 400 extra bucks, be careful next time , good day"
I would, dude. I know the law, and that extra money doesn't mean my freedom.

You're basically going to jail for $480. That's how much your life is worth now.

Give the money back.
