To DJPIMP: bascally what silas said look at the Luni Coleone that ryan was talking about and I pointed out the flaws. Who the fuck would want to buy that peice of shit product? I think nridaz in a way is helping filter out shitty products.
To the ones that said you can burn it or watever from nridaz. Do you idiots not realize that not only are they encoded in mono tracks but they are 32kb quality. So its going to be hella shitty quality. And its not where u can just right click save target as on the tracks, the person has to get some sort of stream ripper and sit there and record everytrack as its playing. A PERSON WILLING TO DO ALL THIS MOST LIKELY CAN JUST GO TO IRC AND DOWNLOAD THE FUCKING CD. lol

Man, I'm taking business communications and what Ryan of Rapbay.com wrote was extremely unprofessional and discouraged a business partner from doing more business. You want something done you don't EVER capitalize whole words and you ask as NICELY as possible. The way the message was written was NOT a request, but a demand. Obviously Sadclown was discouraged by the message and as he should be due to the level of unprofessionalism in Ryan's message. PLUS, N-Ridaz.com been puttin full albums for listen for quite some time, if he receives a cd he's gonna put the full album up for listen as he does will ALL the others. If he made a mistake, let him know as I read a thread where he put NE6 for listen but I don't see it there no more due to Wood's request. I wanted to listen to NE6 before I buy, just gotta wait for it to come on N-Ridaz IF it ever will. Fuck a 30 sec clip.

And what Silas said, you want your shit to sell put a fucking buyable product which people can actually listen to.

and why would ryan care anyways? if the CD is hot, then they shouldnt be worried with letting people listen to the whole album. they should be proud and let people hear the album, so they can see how hot it is and cop it. only one that this screws is the people putting out garbage ass CDs. so they should get screwed. quit the whinin, and let the music speak for itself.

thats the best way to solve this problem. if an artist wants his shit up there, he dont need to take it down. but if an artist dont want it up he shouldnt have it up.
i feel what both sides are saying, and as i said before i've used nriderz thousands of times and it would be a sad day if they took the site down. but the bottom line is you have to have permission to put artists albums on a site no matter who u are or how good your intentions are. thats why when u go to the worlds largest music website "amazon.com" they only post a few songs from each album and never the whole song. legally you just cant go post up peoples work without their permission.
promotion is a great thing and i believe sad clown is one of the best in the bay at doing it, and i believe he'll be just as good at it by providing snippets of a minute and 30 seconds as opposed to the whole song. i think sad clown should be commended for doing such an amazing job for all of the cats in the bay who love the music. lets hope that they can resolve this issue asap because both are major factors in bringing us all the music we bay area heads need.

i feel these sites are like radio stations and i dont hear any artist really tripping about radio stations playing thier music. it helps promote their products. and since people like me that are from the bay and left cali. these sites are the only way i know what music is being played in the bay and who has good music out there. i know these sites hurt some artists but it helps others. it hurts the artists that put out bullshit products with recycle versus and songs, because people do not want to buy albums that they have songs too. but for the up and coming artist it gives them a medium for exposure. it just sucks that a few people got problems with it because there albums arent selling and they need to find something to blame it on. i think if companys lowers the prices of their products they will sell more. i mean i feel artists and companies arent in tune to their listeners. they think college students and teenagers can afford to spend 15-20 dollars on a cd that might not be good. which in fact we cant. but thats my 2 cents.

The N-Ridaz site was a nice piece of work.. The only Issue I had about it was the fact that 1 dude would buy a CD and rip the whole thing without even knowing or contacting alot of artists he promoted...Promotion is good when its in control by the artist/executive producers. If YOU have permisson then sure go ahead post everything, but as a CONSUMER you are commercially sharing someones elses product. 1-2 minute clips are cool but the whole CD is a little overboard IMHO... I would recommend a jukebox type of player and post the album the tracks played off of with a link to purchase.... You are offering a single to play, links to large clips, and then pointing buyers to the store to get it..

Whats funny is most people on this site dont buy SHIT or support the bay anyway. There is a handfull of dedicated people on here, the rest just bitch, complain and burn all the shit anyway, then make threads wondering why the "bay cant blow" lol. Shits classic.

Then I would still say its safe to say that well over half the people on this site burn cds instead of buying them, without a doubt.

I personally like nridaz but I also appreciate when they just put about half of our songs up for people to preview. Fans dont realize just how much money and time is put into most cds and how aggrivating it is to just see it burned for free.

i agree cause thats comin from a business point of view. most cats that are pissed are ones who dont have any money at stake. but most of the guys who spend thousands of dollars and hard work to make these cd's would prefer snippets. if artists dont mind then more power to em. ap9 dont care what cats do with his shit, nor does assassin, but others i manage do so i respect their opinions. by the way, rapbay has itunes where artist get paid when people download their songs. assassin is number 3 right now.

Nobody on here can really say for certain that N-Ridaz has hurt or helped the artists in the Bay. Lots of people dont trust CD's cause of that Luni Coleone shit they be tryihg to put out. Now if artists in the Bay was only dedicated to put out the right time/effort and CD's that are worth buying then Rapbay and others wouldn't have a leg to stand on. I actually think N-Ridaz helps the quality CD's that should be bought and makes artists "step they game up" on those shitty CD's that should have never been put out in the first place.
