You can't examine that when your at that point... You have to disregard those feeling, look at what's in front of you, and move forward. I understand he, and his team face more challenges than we do on a daily basis, but at the same time they need to look at it from our perspective, and those around the world. Why do we face terrorism? Is it because we overstep our boundaries, in pursuit of wealth? Why can't people find jobs? Is it because education has taught them to follow instead of lead, and create and innovate? These are some questions I think they need to look at.

Those programs are made for people living below a certain percentage of the poverty line or old people (medicaid) But what about regular people like you and i who cant afford paying $350 dollars a month for health insurance? We may not be living in "poverty" but theres no way in hell we could qualify for medi-cal.. Believe me, IVE TRIED! The public is left to rely on safety nets which can only do so much. Got a serious disease? YOU'RE FUCKED! HAVE A NICE TIME DYING! and i am in no way joking.

I was paying Kaiser $120/month for healthcare. The only reason I dumped it is because I was running low on funds and did not need it at the time. That's affordable, and if you can't dump that out on healthcare, you are probably damn near the poverty line. There's also blue cross, blue shield, or whatever the fuck else they have out there.

The PROBLEM with MANY people is, they spend WAY more than that (per month) on useless shit. I was one of those people up until about 2 weeks ago. I spent money on fast food, I spent money on cigarettes ($180/mo. to be exact), new clothes, alcohol, etc. etc. etc. While it did not BREAK me, it didn't make sense to spend that money on bullshit. There are millions of people out there just like that, and if they are willing to spend $6 a day on cigarettes but not health insurance, then I don't feel sorry for them when they get sick and can't be seen.

The HHS is creating a series of Health Care exchanges which boosts competition among organizintions LIKE KEISER, to compete for the client. Just like its always been, just cheaper. except this time ANYONE can get it.

I'm not up to date with that...I didn't know he took out the public option. I do know that the government should not be competing in business...it's not what they are here for.
