Those programs are made for people living below a certain percentage of the poverty line or old people (medicaid) But what about regular people like you and i who cant afford paying $350 dollars a month for health insurance? We may not be living in "poverty" but theres no way in hell we could qualify for medi-cal.. Believe me, IVE TRIED! The public is left to rely on safety nets which can only do so much. It's his war now, because he's the president of the United States. I heard something about us withdrawing troops from Iraq, to send them to Afghanistan, but there are still forces there to stay, along with private security forces hired by The Carlyle Group. We will always have bases in both countries, like we do in other places we've invaded.
Its not the fact that you receive Unemployment or even how long you received, its WHY you receive it.. If you have been actively searching for a job, filling out applications and going on interviews, etc. regularly and just havent been hired, then I cant be mad at that....but if you havent been doing that consistently then there is a problem...
I was on unemployment for 3 months when I moved back to Cali from WA last year after graduating with my Masters...I had savings and used unemployment for my final month...luckily I found a job, but unemployment is a great idea, BUT for people who really need it...
Like I said, 2 years is a long time, but if you really were actively looking for jobs, etc. then I wouldnt trip off someone using unemployment, especially if they are using the money to pay their bills and take care of their family while looking for a job...but if its to party and go to the clubs & buy beer..then thats f--ked up...

yes, cus insuring people that are high risk is a great business tactic.........since Obama and Pelosi are so proud of their achievment, i hope they are still proud when jobs are lost and people are not getting proper medical treatment.........
and to everybody whos ignorant that supports universal healthcare, ask yourself why the government, the same cats that helped pass this bill, will be exempt from having to use this method.......the plan they have right now is the plan theyre gonna have after 2014 when this bill goes into affect........they dont have to get fucked like all us civilians........just fuck us.......
