Its not the fact that you receive Unemployment or even how long you received, its WHY you receive it.. If you have been actively searching for a job, filling out applications and going on interviews, etc. regularly and just havent been hired, then I cant be made at that....but if you havent been doing that consistently then there is a problem...
I was on unemployment for 3 months when I moved back to Cali from WA last year after graduating with my Masters...I had savings and used unemployment for my final month...luckily I found a job, but unemployment is a great idea, BUT for people who really need it...
Like I said, 2 years is a long time, but if you really were actively looking for jobs, etc. then I wouldnt trip off someone using unemployment, especially if they are using the money to pay their bills and take care of their family while looking for a job...but if its to party and go to the clubs & buy beer..then thats f--ked up...
