I played for a couple hours last night with a homie mostly just free roam, it was a blast.

Tip for making quick cash - you can steal cars, bring them to LS customs and sell them. For example $1700 for a mini cooper, and $3200 for a Mustang.

Go to a high end area of LS and steal nice sports cars, then sell them. Make sure to periodically deposit your cash before you get clipped and someone jacks you for your money.

Also, apparently you need to own a house/property before you can set up heist missions (need a planning room).

We can set up an invite only server and invite crew members only. That way we can all play without randoms trying to run us over or acting stupid.

Stole a expensive car last night and they wouldn't let me sell it to them cuz they said it's too "hot" and has a gps tracker.....lol I thought that was kind of cool tho, so I just ended up robbing some liquor stores n killing some ppl with it

I didn't lose any progress yesterday from the day before BUT I hope I didn't lose any last night since I finally got enough cash to buy a garage

i got to rank5 yesterday then logged on this morning and my guy was gone so i made a new one. then i couldn't even start the first mission, the race one. so i deleted the 39mb patch in the xmb > system data i think it was, re downloaded and installed, bam fired right up, got to rank8. i hope it stays this time. missions are all launched from your phone or the blue mission markers. you launch then you can invite your crew members. you are very limited at first. you have to do the lamar race, then lamar makes you buy some clothes and you rob a store, then the gerald mission where you jack some drugs, then you have to launch and complete a last team standing mission gerald tells u to do, then a simeon mission where you repo a car. after that more and more types of missions will unlock for you, and you can call gerald for missions and ppl call and text u new missions.

the best missions ive found are survival missions unlocked at rank 15. a rank 15 has to launch it but any1 can join. you survive waves of enemies as long as you can. you keep all the weapons you get for the mission too. i left with an assault rifle, combat mg, smg, and a rocket launcher lol. someone get to rank 15 pls and invite us so we can rank up fast and get the big boy dollars and guns!

My boy lost his level 7 character but my dude which was level 7 was still there this morning. I been playing with my homie all morning but I just tried to access a job for Gerald "Meth'd Up" which was weird cuz I did that last night. The game froze on me when trying to load that so now I'm waiting to see if I can get back on and my progress was saved. I tried to launch into online mode from the jump but I think i'm gonna have to restart cuz it's taking forever. Thanks for the tip Butcher I'm almost to level 9 so if I get to 15 before anyone I'll invite y'all.

To skip the first online tutorial mission (why is there in the first place) people have loaded their game normally in single player, then switched to 'solo online' and completed the first mission.

The cheapest one I found (garage) was for 25,000 n I got that off the Internet from that realtor website....there is a big list of houses n such with prices n locations on that site
