Yes, you could draft players from the 2k college game to nfl 2k. EA bought the righhts to NCAA, in their bout of extreme paranoia that god forbid there be a better game out than EA.
My bias towards EA is completely justifiable. I don't hate their games as much as most believe, I just think the consumer should have a choice of what game he would like to play, and EA is taking away that choice simply because it hurts their pocketbook.

they had more money then 2k sports and had a better business plan that the nfl players union and the ncaa guys supported. if you know anything about business EA sports made a fantastic move by acquiring the rights to nfl players and ncaa games. not becuase they were scared of 2k sports but becuase they can make lots more money this way.
I just read that Madden 2008 will implement an "all-new" READ & REACT system that will show players' special abilities such as "possession catch", "route cuts", "bullet pass", "precision pass"...you get the idea. This is a complete and BLATANT RIP OFF from APF 2K8.

EA obviously stole from APF 2K8. This was "tacked on" by EA at the last minute. How do I know? Well, the abilities were changed ever so slightly from APF 2K8's player abilities probably to protect from getting sued. "Route God" is now "Route Cuts"..."Laser Pass" is now "Precision Pass"..."Rocket Arm" is now "Bullet Pass". Also, why would Madden, which uses a NUMBER rating system (SPEED: 95 AGILITY: 92, etc.) need to include a ABILITY rating system when the NUMBER rating system's sole purpose is to RATE ABILITIES?!?!
Shame on you, EA. You make me sick.
I know APF 2K8 will never sell as many copies as Madden 2008. I am a realist. However, Madden will NEVER, EVER have the one thing that APF 2K has...and that, my friends, is INTEGRITY!!!

They announced this a long, long time ago.. It was one of the big features of the new Madden...
The number rating system is always going to be there, or else everybody would play exactly the same, yet with a few subtle differences... All the speedy players, would be the same speed, and the all the normal players would be the same after that..
You still need individual rankings or it'll turn into shit.

I think it's funny how uptight people get over this. I've stated many times that I AM going to purchase Madden 08, for the Wii... but yet I'm slammed for being a 2k fanboy. I personally think APF is better than Madden last year, butunfortunately, Madden has more features.
APF's gameplay shits all over madden 07, and IMO NCAA 08, which feels stiff and robotic to me.
To those of you that are Madden faithful, when you play APF, do you still run 15 yards out of the pocket, and throw the pass in the opposite direction you are running? I see people doing this all the time in Madden, but you can't pass successfully without your feet firmly planted in APF.
Every review I have read for APF says that the gameplay is solid, it loses points for not having a franchise mode. To each his own, though.

Have you heard of any news about new boxing/fighting games to be released on either the 360 or PS3? I know theres a badass UFC game coming out next year I believe, have you heard of anything else, like fight night round 4 or some shit?

Nothing was shown or hinted at at E3, but I would expect Fight Night Round 4 sometime either this holiday or early next year for 360 and PS3.

Yeah that's what I'm waiting for but the only problem is that EA has made no mention of it, so many have speculated that the series is either done, or they wont make another until '08/09, which is unfortunate because I think Fight Night is the best boxing game ever created.
Round 3 has some major improvements as for as actual fighting goes (different styles/defense, etc.), however for some reason EA really fucked up on the career mode and took like 5 steps back for some reason. Fucking EA. The least they could have done was keep everything the same from FN2, and just improve the actual game-play, fucking idiots. BTW, the PS3 version has a pretty amazing first person view thats fun as hell to play with.
