Just wanted to let you know that me and some homies have just dropped a 2hours+ mix of nothing but dope tracks from the Bay Area. Most of the tracks are from the 90a and it is a mixture of both classic tracks and more obscure tracks. But the common factor is that we all love these tracks.
All...
@lounge:
1: the cassettes could have been pressed right before the CDs were manufactured and they clocked the distribution deal with priority. I don't know how hard it is to change a barcode compared to adding text (priority etc) and logos on cover art (it might be), but this might explain why...
I really recommend checking out this double album and his first two solo albums. Over at cdbaby you can download tracks from both his two first albums Stackin Beats and Trunk Of Funk.
Contact him at [email protected]
Now that we're all agreed that the classic G-funk/mobb beat sound has been preserved in Europe in 2013 (Touch funk, docc free, VS prod etc) I thought you all need to know that Norway's finest G-funk producer Big Ice dropped his brand new double album yesterday. The title of this year's album is...
I'm touching down in Berlin a couple of days next week and I'd like to search through some nice record stores, particularly second hand stores. Anybody here who can recommend some nice stores not very hard to find and not in any area where I might get killed or robbed LOL?
OK, jay. Since you never replies to any emails or even worse, send me the CD you owe me I can't do anything else than put up a thread here.
On April 28th I won a Delinquents single off your ebay auction. In addition I purchased the Black & Jay CD affiliated 4 life from you to make a combined...
white Mic of Bored Stiff has just dropped his brand new album available for free download on bandcamp. The album is called Fightin Off Success and is super dope. His album last year, the Neighborhood Visitor was the shit and this new one will definitely continue from where the last one stopped...

I'm starting to think that this "first press local release" is nothing but rumors caused by all the different re-releases, just like we've been discussing in this and previous threads. We still haven't seen any older release than the priority/BMR release...
@thuglord73, I'd buy that CD and keep...
@hEaTa, what is the ring code on your release? If there was a local BMR release of season of da siccness right before the priority/BMR release it will most likely have a DIDX ring code like every other release from BMR before 1995, like X raided, doomsday and 24 deep.
XV by doomsday exists in several presses, but I wasn't aware that even the black market release is found in at least two versions. Ant-1 had one for sale a couple of weeks ago which had a silver disc with a generic DIDX ring code, titles and logos. Mine, also on black market, has a black disc...
I just got Faces Of Death's Countdown 2 Death. I noticed that the art work is a bit different from the one that one ebay seller has. This one is identical to the cassette . On ebay there's another version where the explicit content label has been replaced by the ususal pen & pixel explicit...
I'm heading to Marseille, France this mid-November. Any of my French siccness homies on here that know any good record stores there, new and second hand?
I recently bought a CD from one ebay seller, got the CD and left positive feedback. Dude has also left me positive feedback. Now the same seller has asked me to cancel the transaction so that he can get his ebay fees in return. I don't feel like doing this, especially since the whole deal went...
Although I can't roll with a lot of Esham's material he's still one of the rappers I respect the most. Can't think of any others who experiment so much with their music. Ain't no album that sounds the same. So although I don't approve much of his material because it's too weird for me I gotta...
I've just had a conversation with TD Camp who made the Equipto For The Record mixtape. He told me that the first pressing of this was on CDR with a crappy quality print cover (most likely the one sold via milliondollardream.com). Then they made 1000 copies of real silver discs. I got one today...
