If you want to get technical... this will be hard to explain (sorry in advance)

Rap / house beats are on 4 measures: Kick - Snare - Kick - Snare ... (80 - 130 bpm)

Dubstep goes: Kick - (nothing) - Snare - (nothing)

at like (140- 160 bpm) it sounds slow because the drum miss's a beat (in lemans) but really the track is going fast like drum n bass.

Personally I think its a really fun sort of arrangement to play with in any music... I notice a lot of producer use it now days when I try to beat map there music.

^^^exactly, I've had so many talks with DJ's and producers about Dubstep in the last 3 years, its music nerd music really.

Most of the dubstep i heard at first. Reminded me or some slowed...hard hittn ass west coast g shit.....with so.e weirdo shit infused ... most of it is pretty weak...
That "BASS HEAD" by Bass nectar goes hard though. I wanna rap on a dubstep beat

Bassnectar was at the kanrocksas festival I went to this weekend. Friday and saturday after the headliners Eminem and Muse played they had this stage that just played dubstep and techno till like 3 or 4 in the morning.

Idk if I would listen to that shit too much but It's pretty good party music though..... Grab a girl and get down lol

so i did a search of "Dubstep" on youtube and stumbled upon this. I know this is old but its new to me and this shit slaps. I can def hear somebody spittin some crazy rhymes over this.
