my homies starski and ski-i put out these albums dub rap volumes 1 and 2 a few years back that is more up the siccness's alley. erk's on it, winstrong....

dubstep is like ecstacy to me.... its only cool every once in a while. and theirs so many annoying subgenres of it its hard to find likable tunes.

but the foundation artists of dubstep are uk artists like rusko, benga, caspa.

Actually, the foundation artists of dubstep are from Jamaica, and most likely dont have a catchy name or are even known outside their town. The UK raped the genre once it popped up in urban clubs. Thats pretty much what white people do to other's culture & art.

how so homie?... we're not talking about dub reggae engineering. the influence is heavy but completely different forms of music.

i was working in king tubbys studio in clarendon two years ago recording dubplates and they're wasn't the slightest mention of dubstep.

Why do you think its called DUBstep? Its roots are in Jamaican dub music.

influence from a music from across the atlantic and the pioneers of a trendy but i'll admit progressive sound are way two different things. i'll tell you right now theirs been none or close to no dubstep artists in JA besides maybe a couple closet musicians.
