your right and how many yrs has he been in the league about 13yrs 4 0r 5 different teams and his touchdown ratio next to his interception ratio is almost neck and neck if im not mistaken and he is no where near a brett farve imo i wasnt saying he was a bad quarterback but he's not winning all games with his arm either like Joe Montana if it wasnt for an existent run game with the few winning teams he has played with we wouldnt even be having this convo you can have all the stats you want but Joe won multi superbowls cant even compare...just my opinion FYI...

Lavelle Hawkins and Brandon Jones should be the starting wideouts on this team...

Justin Gage stole money from the titans this offseason and Justin Mc did about the same (he came cheap and has played cheap)....

Brandon Jones towards the end of VYs rookie year was really gettin synched with VY.....everyone thought he, if any of our current roster WRs was going to "break out" it was going to be him.....he sucked it up last year before going down with an injury and titans fans pretty much gave up on him.....he has looked like our best wideout so far this season....

Hawkins.....whether he is good or not is our futrue....Brandon and Justin Mc will be gone after the offseason....Justin Gage shouldnt be starting on any nfl team...Chris Davis should of never been drafted...Paul Williams (PS) was never a 3rd round pick and a god awful reach.....Biren Ealy (PS)is an extremly gifted athlete and arguebaly the most gifted on the team...you gotta learn the playbook and run correct routes to get playing time....something Ealy hasnt done thusfar in his career..

that pretty much leaves us Hawkins as our number 1 guy....we need to draft a instant contributeer or get a solid FA and hopefully Gage can step it up in a more limited role..

titans WR core is the worst in the leauge!

You have a great point but isnt this the same Kerry Collin's that took a trip to the SUPERBOWL with the almighty Giants lol he wasnt a great passer then but he got the job done well atleast he help get them their lol...and the job is to operate the offense and put them in place to score rather its by field goal or touchdown he was surrounded by a good TEAM then and he prolly surrounded by a better TEAM now since they are the only undefeated team in the league...
Not neccessarily; the league isn't super strong this year, IMO, and if you look at the teams they've faced, they're a combined 34-43. That's not thier fault, of course, as they've taken care of business, but it lends me to believe that their opponents haven't been very impressive. Besides Baltimore (6-3), no other team is better than 1 game over .500.

And yes, Collins is ''getting the job done'', which is all they're asking of him, I'm sure. My only point here isn't to knock the Titans, but just to say that I don't think this team is ''better'' than the Giants team he was on, simply based on the fact that they're undefeated.

the pats play in the afc east...easily one of the worst divsions last year in football...no one gave em shit for that....but now the titans are 9-0 people gotta make excuses....

fuck it...honestly...titans play A LOT better with a chip on thier shoulder...

Jax next week is a big game.....not the hardest competiton we faced but easily the 2nd hardest game after the colts game.....

Vikings, Bears and Packers are all solid teams no matter how many games above .500 they are...Colts are a great team that have done well after the monday night game...

titans are three games ahead in the afc race for home field....that doesnt come by default...Pitts is the clear 2nd in the confrence and got beat (at home) by a team we won relatively easy....

No, that would go to the Raiders.

Well, you know, maybe not...I'd count Miller as a WR, even though he's technically a TE, because it makes me feel better. And Miller > any WR on your team...so maybe if you added him, we might be slightly better, but our real WR core SUCKS.
J Walker no matter how bad he has now has a better resume then any titans WR...they may peform better on sundays because of the talent around em...but J Walker AND Curry could both be contributers on our offense...if we had ehtier of those dudes our starting wideouts wouldnt be starting...the raiders as a whole suck so it makes other parts of thier team look worst IMO

See, you're taking this whole ''chip on their shoulder'', ''us against the world'', ''haters'', etc. shit to the head. I wasn't knocking their accomplishments; it's not their fault the teams they've played haven't performed well against their other opponents. I was simply comparing THIS LEAGUE to the league Collins played against on the Giants.

Also, the whole ''we beat them who beat them'' arguement doesn't hold much weight...

Denver beat the shit out of US, and we beat the shit out of Kansas City, who promptly beat the shit out of...Denver.

Like I've said...if I was doing my own ''power rankings'' type of list, I'd have them at 2, right behind the Giants.

i wasnt talking directly to you in that post.....

you gotta admit though.....pats last year....colts a few times a couple years ago, when they had thier run at the undefeated streak people were awing thier accomplishments....when small market titans make a run they "the experts" got to find certain reasons that we snuck into first place with a un-scratched record....

it has to be our highly improved passing game right "experts"...well a real titans fan would tell you thats not the case....after the chi game (best game passing in titans games the last two years) we are still 27th in the leauge overall....what was our rank last year with "the worst starting qb in the leauge under center"?????

oh shit.....27th....damn im sure glad our passing game is head and shoulders above last year...we simply wouldnt be undefeated if it wasnt for our glorious passing attack....

thats exactly what he did.....completly correct....he was faced with a situation that no other titans qb have faced in a decade or more...

Collins high powerd passing offense is ranked the same exact number that VYs "worst passer" was last year (vy didnt have crumpler/hawkins/brandon jones or chris johnson for help)...

oh yeah...your from canada...debating football with you is like debating hockey with me....eh?

Uhhh, thats exactly what he did on Sunday man. I don't have the stats in front of me, but I believe the Titans had very little or even negative rushing yardage heading into the 4th quarter....

Kerry Collins ATT 248 Cmp 147 Yds 1525 TD 5

Uhhh like i said he's not winning all his game with his arm he didnt throw 1 td pass in the last 2 wks b4 they met the bears and on top of that its wk 11 into the season and he has 5 td passes thats not winning every game with his arm imo...

The difference between the Colts/Pats and the Titans was 2 big things, IMO: first, the level of competition was a lot better, with teams like the Steelers, Bengals, Chargers, Broncos, Jaguars, Ravens, Browns the past couple of years, TITANS as a wildcard...they were all pretty good teams. Now, out of those...who stands out? None. All disappointments. Again, that's not the Titans fault; they just need to do their jobs, which they have.

I give them props for being undefeated; they have a title no one else can claim. I have only said that I think the Giants are a better team. Nothing else.

23 fumbles? Are you serious?
Jemercus Rassel has 7 throughout his career.....condiderably less playing time and VY is a RUSHING QB...

are you sold that Russel is a bust? allready?...ready to give up on number 1 overall? make the thread Tony, im sure all the same dudes (raiders fans) would agree that Jemercus is hot garbage compared to VY...

im pretty confident that pretty soon VY will show up and dookie on your bf A. Brooks career too....

VY can do something....he has the talent to make some sort of impact on a team....

Rassel is a O-linemean that jacked off a lot as a kid (huge arm)...you got your own problems to worry about :knockout:
