There's a reason why jeff fisher is keeping collins in there.
pretty much sums it up

jeff fisher is one of the best coaches in the nfl... the fact that he has decided to keep collins in proves that he thinks the team has a better chance to win with him right now

and I would take fisher's opinion on his team over mooreblock's opinion all day

I'm very impressed with what the Titans have accomplished this year, but not entirely impressed with their entire team. I think they have a few things that need plenty of work, but they've been able to make up for those ''problems'' with other aspects of the game...for instance, the passing game has been sub par for most of the first half, but the defense and running game has been strong, so the Collins/Young ''problem'' has been taken care of. Collins did look very good this past week, though.

IMO, they're NOT the best team in the NFL; that goes to the New York Giants, who I think are my favorites to win the SB again this year, so far. There's still plenty of football left, though, so you never know.

BTW, Mooreblock, keep your panties out of your vagina with my above statement; being undefeated doesn't automatically make you the best. I think they're the second best team in the league. Be happy with that.

Alabama's ranked number 1 in the country...does anyone outside of Bama think that?

he is a vince young groupie cant get off his nuts and gets mad any time someone says he sucks
That sums it up. He ignores the fact that vince young threw almost 20 int's last season and collins has only thrown 3 so far half way through the season. Most people on here would agree that if young started all the titans games this season they would not be undefeated at this point.

Agreed! The Titans would not be 9-0 if Vince was still starting... I could see 6-3 though with Vince in there.

9-0 and not the answer what have you been watching titans pop warner football lol smh...
if the titans had a solid passing game, they would be A LOT better of a team...

kerry collins up untill this past sunday was passing just as bad as vince....VY threw a int against a solid Jax secondary week 1.....no one knows if VY would throw hella ints this year or "manage" the game like KC seems to do...

everyone has thier opinion but we will never know.....period.....

KC impressed this weekend....our O-line is doing GREAT pass blocking all season....they seemed to be beastly on Rushing blocking last year but it doesnt seem as good this year (good thing we got CJ and Lendale)

our team is a real different team then last year....

Football starts in the trenches and thats what the titans are doing best.....in the playoffs a high powered offense might kill us but we will see wasup....

i dont expect folks to believe in Vince...hopefully he bitch slaps the shit outta all the haters....its really the only thing titans fans can hope for....if not qb then make him stick out his contract as a "O" weapon.....

Mooreblock are you stupid or what? The passing came that you always talk bad about is part of the reason your team is undefeated. Lendale White rushed for 14 yards on 10 attempts and Chris Johnson didn't do much better against the Bears yet your team still won. You call your receivers garbage and say Kerry Collins isn't playing that much better than Vince Young. Are you crazy? Kerry has only thrown 3 INT's (in 8 of his starts) and Vince had 2 INT's in his only start. Kerry has gone 4 straight games without an INT.

Yeah...no.

This was the first game that Collins passed for more than 200 yards, and had more than 1 TD. He may have gone 4 straight games without an INT, but he had also gone 3 straight without a TD before this game. He has 5 TD passes, TOTAL, on the year. He had a super game this past week, but LOL @ acting like Tennessee has a passing game.

If they didn't have a passing game they would have gotten beaten by now... I am not saying their passing game is the greatest but from the games that I've seen, they can move the ball via air if they have to.

Fair enough, but their passing game is subpar, IMO. The WR core is very inconsistant; making 1 or 2 plays once in a while doesn't count.

It's not really Collins fault he only has 5 TD passes, as they rely on Lendale in the red zone, and their defense scores, also, but he should have more than 5, for a starting QB in the league, with as many games/snaps as he has.

Regardless, the passing game hasn't killed them yet, and the game that the running game faltered, the passing game (Collins) came through. He completed passes to 7 different recievers, thus spreading the ball around effectively.

You have a great point but isnt this the same Kerry Collin's that took a trip to the SUPERBOWL with the almighty Giants lol he wasnt a great passer then but he got the job done well atleast he help get them their lol...and the job is to operate the offense and put them in place to score rather its by field goal or touchdown he was surrounded by a good TEAM then and he prolly surrounded by a better TEAM now since they are the only undefeated team in the league...

that justifys my point that you dont watch enough titans games...the passing game other then against the bears has looked the same for the past 1 and a half seasons.....

no matter what way you slice it......me saying we "dont" have a passing game doesnt mean we cant pass the ball.....that would just be stupid.....but its subpar like redrum says and other then a few less mistakes we are just as bad as we were last year....

no one is argueing what kerry has or hasnt done....im simply argueing the VY haters on the forum cant justify that they "know" we wouldnt be undefeated without him at QB...

Justin Gage (before the Chi game..he had one drop in the chi game that i vividly remember) was 2nd to Braylon Edwards in drops....Justin, since doesnt get half the looks Braylon does has a nasty percentage of drops to catches....worst in the NFL by far.....

Stop aBefore the season started you had no idea just like the rest of us. No one knew the titans would be undefeated or even in 1st place in their division before the season. As much as you hate to admit it kerry collins at qb is a big contributing factor to your teams success. The titans would not be undefeated with vince young back there turning the ball over all the time.
I gotta agree man, 100%. Nobody knew they would be this good and the Colts and Jags would perform so poorly. I had the Titans at the bottom of the division with the Texans getting a wild card because they showed some major improvements last year and finished strong at 8-8. I think you absolutely must throw Kerry Collins into all the MVP talk right now...This team has completely taken the league by surprise, and oh yeah, Jeff Fisher as coach of the year.....
