This list obviously don't represent what the streets are feelin... other than HD. I'm glad G-Mo Skee made it cause he lyrically kills almost everyone else on that list. If that's the freshmen class, Joe Blow shoulda been the class president cause he's really the breakout artist this year..

Pretty good list unlike some of the past winners....I really like HD, Smoovie Baby, HopieSpitsHard, and AKA Frank(from the dilligentz). Kool John, Shady Blaze, and HBK Skipper are all pretty decent as well....

yup, same here. I feel like I'm not up on new Bay music if this is what's popular in the Bay right now. I've heard of dude from HBK, barely heard of G-Mo, just saw some of his videos in BART. Only dude on there who's music I really fuck with is HD

i agree with about 3-4 of the people on the list.


and it's definitely hilarious that G-Mo made it. we were told when the video dropped that he WAS going to be on the list but they dropped him off because of the diss...i guess not.

everyone should check out A-1...he's one of my favorite "new" rappers in the bay.
