Just the type of movie it was. It left you with a little to work with, him linking up at the last match with that bitch he was feelin. Its leaving it up to you decide how it ended. Maybe its a cop out, but i prefer to think he lived that last match, retired and lived happily ever after with Maresi Tomei and her titties.

I saw it as the exact opposite. he chose to keep wrestling and living the only life he knows over giving it up and settling down with that stripper chick. I thought it was a perfect ending in the sense that it wasn't an ending at all, it was just his life continuing down the same road.
yep dont get me wrong I wasnt dissin the movie, in fact, I thought it was an excellent movie. I don't think it has any replay value though....It was very meloncholy, you gotta be in a certain mood to watch it.....I just didn't like how it ended....

i liked that movie........i thought that the ending was fitting as we all should know what happened to him, since he wasnt supposed to wrestle anymore.....
I just watched this last night on blu. I thought it was a very good movie and deff worth checkin out if you haven't yet. the ending did leave you hangin but overall I liked it. The extras were nice too!
Seems like Mickey Rourkes real life story. With his acting career he was big in the 80s, then fell off a bit in the 90s, now he makin a come back really big in this decade.
