Some people need to calm down... not everyone is gonna feel bay area music like we do out here... the review wasn't bad... especially considering it's not even an official album

the guy made some good points... and as much as I love the Jacka's music... he's not necesarily a lyrical genius... nor do I think he tries to be

the worst thing about this review was some of the slightly homo references he made... for example sayin "harder than 50's nipple"

wtf???

wow wtf? you can obviously see that this wannabe critic didnt even bother to listen to the album. Wtf.....just goes to show that these NYC cats got their head so far up their own regions ass that they dont even bother to analyze music from any other region. Yeah he says Jacka might have what it takes but dude was down playing him the whole time in the article.....honestly what kind of props is that? Dudes metaphor game as a critic is way homo as well.....anybody with a decent ear 4 music can see that this is better than alot of shit coming out nowadays and keep in mind that its a mixtape..........wow these magazines are way to corny

my 2 cents

I dig the Jacka, but absolutely see what he is talking about. It is not his best effort and his management/ publisist should have been more cautious with sending half ass products from an artist that is from a area that traditionally gets a bad wrap in publications.

I agree with it.. but i dont agree that Fuck Everybody is the weakest joint.. the album is not a 100 Jacka effort tho.. you can tell it was alotta rejects from Tear Gas.. but it was new music from one of my fav bay artist so i was satisfied til the new album.. look out for "Hello" produced by me!
True...I haven't heard the whole album so I can't critique it.....But from the leaks, I could see how it wouldn't be received well....Tear Gas should be much better but considering they actually sent this album for review, I would not expect that until the summer.....

the reviewer was lightweight homo wit it but he made some good points and while its obvious new york cats dont want to say it its clear they cant deny this cd is hard...read the review again and youll see that dude was impressed by this album and that even he thinks Jacka is finna blow up...if anything the street album may have been too gutta for the guy and people are intimidated by what they dont understand....but for real street album is the hardest shit im knockin rit now!

most people who write reviews are pretencious wanna be music elitists. This person obviously dreams of a late night homo encounter with Curtis Jackson, he made like 3 gay ass refrences to 50 in the review.

personally i havn't heard the whole album, i'm waiting for jacks official shit to come out. whenever that will be.

Youd figure that rags like XXL would ease up off their favorable to the east coast attitude they have since NY has fallin off big time in the world of mainstream hip hop.

The review has it's up and downs and being prepared to a up and coming 50cent by some eastcoast cats is never a bad thing. 50cent 5 years ago was in the same position the jack was in.

i dont think any intelligent person could think 50 and jacka are similar

i mean what because he dropped a mixtape he is fuckin 50 cent reinacarnated.. lmao

this guy is a fuckin douche it wouldnt suprise me if he has thressomes with wayne and kanye

swappin lip gloss and shit

on another note its good to see that they actually covered the jacka because im sure alot of people will see this and it will spark enough interest to at least download the album and hopefully get the jacka a few new fans who otherwise would have never known he existed
