shit is sold out everywhere. I tried looking around Best Buy and they had signs outside saying "HP Touchpad Sold Out." I asked them to look for the closest place available and they said they're gone.
I love my iPad, but I keep going to this tablet because of the flash support and the ease of audio streaming from certain sites. I'm hoping they finish the android honeycomb port soon too. For $100 its a score.
just copped that galaxy tab 10.1...the touchpad might be cool for 100, but you're not gonna be able to do anything to it. pretty much, what you get out of the box is what you have for good. there's a reason they're selling them so cheap.
if browsing the web, videos, ebooks, social networking is all you do, this is a steal. When android is ported it will be even better. If anyone can get one, do so asap.
I love my iPad. I use it almost as much as my laptop these days.
For the Touchpad I guess Costco ordered a lot and then cancelled their order so there should be some back on the HP website in a few days according to my friend. So keep an eye out.

they are selling them cheap because hp shut down that side of there business. with 500k sold in a few days in USA alone im sure there will be many developers making shit for them
my iPad pretty much replaced most of the functionality of my laptop... since 2002, i've bought nothing but mac laptops, but i ended up replacing my last laptop with a brand new iMac because of the iPad.... i'm bool off of laptops for awhile
I gotta say I didn't think tablets would be so relevant as they are, I guess I was smoking crack. Only time I really touch my laptop is to do graphics and web shit and to sync music. Tabs are way too portable and easy to use. And now they are very affordable.
No hype around the touchpad. I wanted to cop 1 so I can flip that shit double for what I paid for to some idiot who doesnt know that the OS is a dead technology and that MS wont be updating it. Android apps wont run on it.
