Mayb it's just me but everybody keep making it seem that MS is way more inferior than the PS4? Yet when I read the specs on these 2 there wasn't too much of a difference although I did give the PS4 the edge yet I wouldn't call it a way more superior consol.....I dunno wotever I guess?!! Lol
And as far as those "free games" go I agree with STICK @STICK s in his saying the Xbox games r older but r the ps3 games that r "free" really worth the change from MS to PS3?? And with the multiplayer situation I totally agree with u but I'm speaking for myself on this when I say I do play a lot of multiplayer games so I kno for a fact I'll b paying for the ps+ but it would b another great reason for NON multiplayer people to go with PS4 I do agree with that but it has nothing to do with me personally....@ the end of the day for me the way MS has been lately is what is forcing my hand to possibly make that switch to PS4 still I wanna wait it out and c wot happens with both consols.

It does not cost 2k for a solid gaming pc, I built my last system for 4hun (true I get half price discounts on company related stuff but deals are out there) and it can do everything a ps4 or xbox one can do plus more- 2 years after build- no competition (plus I can upgrade for a fraction, consolers can't without buying a new entire system). The power is multiple times greater, the graphics are more advanced, and I don't have to follow Sony or MS rules and policies and their lack of usability and content restrictions.

Yes if you want to go with a far inferior system of PS4 or MS definitely go with PS4 but if you want the real deal holyfield you do it pc.

Here's proof from an industry expert

"NVIDIA spends 1.5 billion US dollars per year on research and development in graphics, every year, and in the course of a console's lifecycle we'll spend over 10 billion dollars into graphics research. Sony and Microsoft simply can't afford to spend that kind of money. They just don't have the investment capacity to match the PC guys; we can do it thanks to economy of scale, as we sell hundreds of millions of chips, year after year.........If you want to go faster, you need a more efficient design or a bigger power supply. The laws of physics dictate that the amount of performance you're going to get from graphics is a function of the efficiency of the architecture, and how much power budget you're willing to give it........you're not going to get anything that is significantly more power efficient in a console, as it's using the same core technology. Yet the consoles have power budgets of only 200 or 300 Watts, so they can put them in the living room, using small fans for cooling, yet run quietly and cool. And that's always going to be less capable than a PC, where we spend 250W just on the GPU. There's no way a 200W Xbox is going to beat a 1000W PC......The technology that we're applying to PC graphics is literally state of the art, at the limits of semiconductor technology. That's why I don’t think it’s possible any more to have a console that can outperform the PC."

A PC can't do everything though. You can't play GTA5 right now (im sure in some months). All my friends are on consoles. Again it's about convenience. I'm not debating a gaming PC is more powerful that's obvious. And it isn't cheap. Even building your own, you want top of the line it's going to be $900 min

Yes, I can go on xbox 360 right now and play GTA V, which I bought for the kids = boring. I played one hour. The PC version is not too far away though. San Andreas online PC world shit on anything I had ever seen from a gaming console, plus the endless modification avail for the game= wowzers. GTA V for PC will be just as superior. My PC is top of the line, I built it that way so the kids could use it for gaming and so it could function as a complete system, movies, music production, education, etc, still only cost me 4hun. It sits in the game room and is also wired to the big screen in the living room. My homeboys have consoles too, I don't give a fuq. If I want to play versus another human I don't care if I know them or not, in fact I would prefer I don't because its easy to second guess those you know, the challenge is in the unknown. I'm not arguing with you either, you like what you like- the thread wanted an opinion and I gave it. The average person likes inferior shit because what glitters is gold to them, I get it. I work in the industry though.

I'm having trouble finding a complete list, but this is the best I could find. It's the entire first year, so the last few months aren't included.

If you buy every game brand new, then this might not mean much to you. If you wait for price drops or deals, then PS+ can be great.

EDIT:

Here's the wiki page, NA is on the left, PAL territories on the right: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instant_Game_Collection

EDIT 2: I'm not an engineer or anything, but I've read people saying PS4 is a lot more powerful because MS has like three operating system's running all the time. Kinect has resources dedicated to it at all times. If you don't give a fuck about Kinect, then it sucks that power that could be used for games is being used for that.

Here's one article that I have read which contributed to my conclusion on these 2 consols.....I have read about 4 or 5 articles on this n only one so far has given ps4 a really strong rating over the Xbox one..

I'm with you here, nothing beats pc gaming. I can't imagine playing battlefield on anything less than a 64 player server, or ARMA with those graphics, or any MMO, RTS, MOBA, FPS on console.

For sports games though it will always be console #1 though because the player base is bigger and online is better 1v1.

Not true you can build something to any budget, even $500

It looks much better than the old one but I still definitely gotta get used to analog sticks beside each other.

You can't run full specs on a game like bf4 with a $500 comp. Even if you could you're definitely gonna have to invest in a new video card halfway through the console's lifespan.

None of the GTA ports to the PC have been as good as the console versions.
