You stupid ignorant fuckin' queers need to read everything before you jump to conclusions! Where the fuck did I say Ben was the best QB of all time???!!! I was comparing Manning and Roethlisberger! Learn to read you ignorant square bastards! Roethlisberger is 8-2 in the playoffs and 2-0 in Super Bowls and still has many years of playing time ahead... Get in through your thick fuckin' skulls!

Montana being best of all time is debatable. I think Otto Graham was a better fuckin' QB than Montana! Montana played in all those uncapped years... Learn about it you little punk bitches! Any of you fuckin' faggots that don't know the history of the NFL can easily sack swing from these unknowledgable fans who think they know their shit!

ben roethlisberger will tell you pittsburgh won his first super bowl DESPITE him, not because of him.

not to mention the refs had a hand or two or three in the outcome of that game.

If you read anything above or understand how the salary cap works, you will know that Peyton wouldn't be as good then. If the Colts spent the same money as Pittsburgh does on Defense, then they couldn't afford all the Offensive players they use! Their Offensive Line wouldn't be as good which means Peyton would have no protection! So make up your minds... Which is it? Any QB that could have a great Defense and Offense at the same time would have a lot of rings...

That's why I SMH at those past ignorant comments about "Well, if so and so had that good of defense, he would have more rings" BULLSHIT! Learn how the NFL works before you guys say stupid shit like that!

Lmao go on Craigslist. West Mifflin is where all the trannys post from.

I always laugh at these cats from Arizona getting the most bent out of shape over the Steelers. Meanwhile Pittsburgh is the only reason the Cardinals are a relevant team now. You guys oughta be kissing our asses. From Breaston at Woody High to Fitzgerald at Pitt to the 30 ex-Steelers on your team to Russ Grim and Whisenhunt to Haley. You guys were/are Steelers top to bottom.

Since you hate anything Pitt, that oughta make you pretty fucking confused.

Well put it this way, if u put peyton in pitt and Ben in indi peyton would have way more success.
Wrong! Peyton can't scramble like Roethlisberger does! Look at the big games in the Super Bowls where Ben made great plays out of nothing. Ben has had weak protection from average O-Lines. Most QB's on 3rd and 28 in Super Bowl XL would not be able to buy so much time avoiding sacks and making the big plays down field.

If Manning played on the Steelers during their last Super Bowl run, he would have been sacked and nothing else. Look at the last drive in Super Bowl 43 vs. AZ when Roethlisberger scrambled around and bought extra seconds out of the pocket to find Heath Miller! Peyton couldn't have executed that drive with the same weak Offensive Line.

Peyton would be on his ass all the time if he played for The Steelers the same years as Ben!

wrong its very hard to sack Peyton even if there is a lot of pressure he beats the blitz better then any other qb, he releases the ball quick and usually puts it in good places for the receiver to catch it. Theres a reason his receivers look better then they would on another team. You must of forgot the Colts had the worse running game in the league yet Peyton is still beating defenses even when the defense is expecting pass 90% of the time. Roethlisberger is coo' but he doesnt and isnt able to run the offense like Peyton. Just be fortunate yall have that good defense

I agree where you say Peyton runs the offense better, but disagree on who's clutch under pressure. You have to really know the difference between both O-Lines! Peyton would not have the same success with the Steelers O-Line, because he needs at least the time he get's now to throw it. Look what happens to him in the past when he get's pressured! He chokes and throw's INT's or isn't accurate all the time! Everyone thinks just because Peyton calls his own plays, has a great offensive line and is animated with his audibles that he is better or the best. That's bullshit, because all the QB's did that in the old days and Peyton would have been no different back then. Otto Graham was better than Peyton Manning, but doesn't get the credit!!!

Manning is not as great as everyone claims he is and this last Super Bowl vs. The Saints just proved it! I like his work ethic though and his competitiveness. That's where I give him credit, because he is a team player.

I agree with some of what Jazzo is saying, Manning can't really create a play out of nothing like Roethlisberger can. A lot of that has to do with ho quick manning is in reading the defense and getting the ball out though, and a lot of that is also on ho good and CONSISTENT his offensive line has been since he's been there. Manning's never really had a weak Offensive Line in his career. As for more clutch, out of those 2, lets just say if it's a regular season game I'm going with Manning and if it's in the playoffs I'd go with Roethlisberger haha

Rothlisberger shows up when it counts. He has two rings to prove it. Manning is the man but only has one ring. You can do the math. Both play completely different styles of football that win in the NFL. "Get over it."

overall manning is the better qb but id definitely take big ben in the clutch.

using your logic trent dilfer is equal to peyton manning. big ben WAS trent dilfer in super bowl xl.

Those who misunderstand will always shake their heads in disbelief. You are completely missing the point. We are talking strictly about talent, not whether or not you would be able to accumulate a great defense with the salary Peyton commands. The point is, with an outstanding defense, Peyton Manning would easily win championships. We are not talking about whether or not it can be done in a capped year.

That out of the way.. Teams are able to draft and create outstanding defenses without breaking the bank all the damn time, so whether you like it or not, it CAN be done.

Like T-Rip said, if you have Big Ben and Peyton change places, Ben will have no championships and Peyton would likely have 3-4.

For someone who just said we need to learn how the NFL works, you sure aren't displaying much knowledge yourself.

The fact of the matter is if Peyton were in Pitt, those plays would have never happened. The system would be completely different in Pitt with Peyton there. He reads defenses better than anyone, calls and audibles plays into what will likely be the most successful and he has a quick, accurate release. He doesn't get sacked because the ball comes out quickly. He knows where his receivers will be before they even make their breaks, that's why you see so many highlights of Peyton dropping the ball in the perfect spot where only the receiver can catch it.

With a different system, different plays called and a completely different QB, you have no idea how good or bad Ben's line would play. The system, play calling and QB can make a shitty line look very good.
