Miami is having a peaceful protest - Republican Mayor

We will see what happens at dark as NBC reported it was violent there last night

Edit: now rally turning into a March to police dept. Cops have been instructed to allow it to happen and sit back


Edit2:. All them cops just scattered to head to police dept before marchers get there. They also have tactical officers on buildings

Edit3: 57 arrests last night, majority not from Miami (only 13 were)

Here's the police station waiting (one side of road completely lined with government cars)

Edit 5:. They altered their route to not go to police station and are headed a different direction

Edit 7 protecting tourist attraction and revenue maker (commerce) Bayside mktplace, which had some fires last night


Edit 8 some ppl just started running away from the March and police presence (hmmmmm. Where were they going......)

Edit 12 mayor just stated last night's surveillance showed that a third group infiltrating the second group of Peaceful protesting last night had radio communications and backpacks and were the looters lmao. He said it's what we are seeing across the country and he believes that IT IS A CONCERTED EFFORT to influence the younger people to do the same. Now why would a Republican Mayor say such a thing


Whoever led this group to Bayside did that tactically to break up the March imo, these ppl have no March leader and don't know what to do or where to go now lmao

Edit 13 Swat ordered dispersement away from Miami Dade port



Told them they had 5 minutes to disperse and they did it in 3, except for two and one mother is upset at her son for wanting to get arrested. Literally hundreds said f that and dispersed

Edit 14: they are giving them 5 more minutes to disperse away from the area, dude finally got some sense in his head and walked away too


Edit 15 a bunch of young ppl decided to run onto the I95 which they were told would lead to arrest but state police are clearing it for them

And stopped on it (interrupting commerce)....


Edit: 28 min until no more protesting allowed. Reporter said he spoke with one of the March rally organizers and they said their plan was completed so that means ppl marching now are on their own.

Other reporter on site said she saw two ppl swooped up separately in the blink of an eye and no explanation (no visible crimes or violations)

Lmao these ppl don't comprehend there is literally a city covered in cameras and drones


Edit:. Fort Lauderdale ppl started throwing rocks at police police started tear gassing. BTW fort Lauderdale openly gay mayor, likely not a Republican



Now they getting rubber bullets because they were supposed to be ghost 6 min ago (ft Lauderdale not Miami)

Some ppl hurling water bottles at pigs now in ft Lauderdale a block from the tear gas deployment area



Miami now 25 min away from it's 9pcurfew and ppls children now hanging at CVS across from arena. Now those ppls kids started damaging CVS so police presence showed up and started to tell ppl to get away (interrupted commerce)

Damage to CVS, ppl were trying to break in to loot it but some other protestors stopped them
