his first album is a classic cause dre produced the whole thing. and his 2 album has only 2 songs done by dre. i love his first album. in my opinon if dre produces a whole album i'll listen to it all but if he only dose 1 or 2 then the album is WACK to me.

The album was tight. I had to give it a few listens, but I found myself really craving the sound after awhile. But..........classic?

Why is everything more than a year old a "classic?" Shit is out of hand. A kid posted up a thread on another board about how Kuruption was a classic. Is hip hop really that shitty that we look back at fucking KURUPTION in admiration?

Get rich or die trying is for cats who dont know what rap is. You might as well go and get some make-up and put foundation on as well. 50 cent is a media hyped bitch. Shit some of you cats probably think Chingy is the best Mc ever. 50 is a bitch and everyone knows it. -S4 turns up Mo'Mail by Spice 1 to make muthafuckas remember what good rap is.
Typical Bay Area rap fan attitude right here...'if it ain't from the Bay...its wack'

Definitely a classic.

50 cent raps like two year old, mother goose rhyme book. ....HE WRITES GOOD HOOKS that get stuck in your head....thas why everyone eats it up....his beats is cool, but 50 ain't all that great of a rapper. Game a hella lot better than him and had away better album....50 is smart and got white boys singin to his hooks and easy to follow lyrics..period...GROTD wuz good, and I thot sum shit was cool on it, , but on tha Massacre he fell off....

This album is definitely a classic. He didn't hit platinum and sell over millions for nothing! As much as I don't like 50 as a person, I respect the music he puts out. That track "Bloodhound" ft. Young Buck slaps. Ya'll have to admit he had dope ass beats and catchy ass sing-a-long hooks on that album. Man, I bet when "Wanksta" came out, everyone was listening to that shit. "wanksta" is still a dope track. I'd rather pay $17.99 for that album than any other album the Bay Area has been putting out this year!
serious? i'd rather pay 17.99 for Mistah Fab-Son Of A Pimp Or Jacka-The Jack Artist or Rydah J. Klyde-What's Really Thizzin and a couple other bay albums

i haven't heard the album, but at least the singles off of GRODT where at least decent...

wanksta - tight
in the club - average
21 questions - tight
pimp - okay

but unfortunately, ALL the singles off of the Massacre where annoying... less than mediocre at best... especially that gay ass song Candy Shop... what the fuck was he thinking?

I liked Get Rich. Any other albums he came out with, i never listened to. Mostly because I was too annoyed by the singles to give it a chance.

I just listened to Get Rich right now after seeing this thread for the first time since the year it came out. It is a pretty solid album. His lyrics sound hungry on it, like he was really trying to get to the top of the rap game.

Too bad he is big headed as fuck now.

For the same price i would prefer buyin' another album.

In my classic list i can't add GRODT between illmatic, livestyle ov da poor, road to the riches...

For this reason this album is NOT a classic for me.

"Guess who's back" is better for me even idf it ain't a "real" album.
