There's only 2 players out there that the Giants should even consider offering crazy money to:

1.) Carl Crawford
2.) Jayson Werth

IMO All 3 are unrealistic. Fuck Jeter! Dude is on the decline fast.

werth is a baller , if i remember correctly he hit a opposite field homerun in the nlcs to the cove or someshit.. don't remember plus he has a good arm but would demand to much money.. and watch the afl on saturday and wasn't too impressed with belt granted that was the only game i seen but he seemed really agressive at the plate

Yeah he did hit an opposite field homer in the NLCS at AT&T park, but still. Don't trust him, and he has Boras as his agent.

Dodgers Closing In On Deal With Juan Uribe
By Tim Dierkes [November 29 at 11:38am CST]

12:29pm: Uribe's contract with the Dodgers will be for three years and $21MM, tweets Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

11:38am: The Dodgers are closing in on a three-year deal with free agent infielder Juan Uribe, tweets ESPN's Buster Olney. After a couple of solid seasons for the Giants, Uribe is about to snag his first multiyear free agent deal with their division rival.

Uribe, 31, hit .248/.310/.440 with 24 home runs in 575 plate appearances for the Giants this year, adding a pair of postseason home runs. He mainly played shortstop, but also logged time at third base and second base. Uribe would presumably serve as the Dodgers' second baseman with Rafael Furcal in the fold. The contract may seal Ryan Theriot's fate, with Thursday's non-tender deadline looming. Another effect may be a heightened sense of urgency for the Giants as they search for a shortstop. Uribe is a Type B free agent who was offered arbitration by the Giants, so they'll receive a supplemental draft pick for their loss.

Wow, this team will lose a lot of pop(the thing everyone was complaining we lacked the season before last) with Burrell gone being replaced by DeRosa in left and Uribe now gone being replaced by someone like Burriss??? Going to lose a ton of fucking home runs.
