I know somebody that permanently ended up in a wheel chair because he was wearing flip flops in 100 degree weather and he had to fight somebody at a gas station and his flip flops fell off and he burned his feet bad on the black tar concrete, it did some type of damage to the bottom of his feet to where he can't walk again, that's why I never wear flip flops every time I step out of my front door.
