you will make more @ starbucks than the avg cat hustlin on the streets - 40 hrs week x 10/hr x 52 weeks = $20,800 say - 25% for taxes thats $15k FREE AND CLEAR. eh... maybe you could clear that in a year sellin CDs, we're talking about net gains not gross of course. stress the MAYBE... $15k = 4000 cds @ 5 a piece minus pressing not including any studio time, mix, master, equipment, features OR artwork? doubt it. so say 5000 cds minimum. thats a lot of CDs homie. Mixtapes you gotta sell like 8-10k units cuz they go for like 2-3 a piece wholesale or in packages. so BULLSHIT. i make 7 a piece off each dvd, sold half as much, half the effort, same cake making simple store runs to 3 spots.
the moral of the story is hustle smarter not harder.

Yeah I dont know who said they dont see people selling out the trunk no more, cause I see them all the time in the mall or infront of a store asking for $5.00 for their CD-I always support cause u dont know if they good and $3 to $5 aint that much to give a cd a chance to me-
