Setrippin Bloccstyle was tight as hell..

But no offense - im not really feeling your mass posts of similar topics. Theyre cool once in a while but when I see a line of "whats your favorite...!" its kinda weird. I dunno. No hate, im just letting you know.

And back on topic, I dont think much at all of Mr. Doc now a days...

i would say settrippin bloccstyle was hard and the rest fell off, he was on a couple of coo tracks on the heated compilation. I think that would be tite if it had in him to put out another album, ya neva no, bloccstyle was hard cuz lynch was on a grip of tracks

bloccstyle was cool but i overrated..
bombay was aright....
odysea was weak...
havent heard doc holiday......
his verses on foe loco's cd were tight tho... if he spits like he did on those trakcs on his new shit ill cop it..........
overall i think hes about average.... if the production is consistantly tight i think he'll sell enough units

I think he fell off to the point of no return. Its understanable to make a classic first album then come out with a weak 2nd, look at Nas and Snoop. But Doc gave up on his Bloccstyle and thats why Bombay was garbage. If he was still doing that 24th st Bloccstyle you would have heard some heat and probably he woulda been collabing with more of the original BM fam.

Bombay-cottonball soft
Odysea-Everywhere We Go, My Roots, On Point, only decent tracks and Doc aint even on them
Doc Holiday-like Bombay only 2 tight tracks and one of them is the intro

The only flawless song he made without Lynch is 'Do You See.'

Good points Jose. I think we all pretty much agree that Setrippin Bloccstyle was raw, and as INDIGO pointed out, he came clean on Foe Loco's...but listening to Bombay was just punishment. I absolutely couldn't stand that album, and returned it the same day.:dead:
