LOL how can you try and play a race card when it comes to executions? Go to deathpenaltyinfo.org and look some shit up, for every black person executed theres atleast 3 or 4 white people executed.

If Tookie didn't start the crip gang, didn't get all this support from the hip hop community then most of the people on this board wouldn't be sayin Tookie should've been pardoned. I've seen so many fuckin threads on various message boards throughout the internet talkin about how "Tookie was a rydah" and bullshit like that. If the dude wasn't a crip people wouldn't have said shit, GO NET THUGS.

On the other hand if your makin the arguement because you just flat out don't believe in the death penalty whether black, white, latino, asian, crip, blood, etc. etc. Then you go boy, but don't bring race into this shit.

My personal views on ANY death row case is if you did the crime then eye for an eye. If you murder 4 people then your a scumbag. Let's put it this way, if Tookie Williams murdered your mother and sister would you still be sayin Save Tookie?
real shit man, i dont really believe that killin makes you scum, some people have it coming, but if its over gang shit then yea, i see what yur saying, and i agree with everything u just said

The question is why did the government decide to execute him now after so long time has passed ? He was showing us that there's a better way..the government wanted him dead right now for a reason..

every1 on deathrow will live about 20 years before their sentence is carried out.

thats the way our system works. our system should be more like that of texas, 5 years of appeals and off to the chair

I can't believe not a one of you have brought up that this man refused to redeem himself by apologizing or even accepting responsibility for his crimes.

How can you redeem yourself when you can't even admit to what you did? That makes absolutely no sense.

You know like what they do with serial killers. They make deals with them, if they help them find the rest of the bodies and give them insight on the brutal slayings, then they give them their life.
Tookie refused to acknowledge his crimes, and refused to help police debrief gang suspects.

What say you to this?

prison is "meant to rehabilitate" you....its basically supposed to be a rehab center....
Prison is punishment...I don't know why you would think any differently.

Tookie diserved a second chance at life, he should of not been murdered by the Government.

What this proved was, or what it meant, was nothing, it's that the Government is more corrupted and cold blooded than any other.
Tookie deserved a second chance? How about the people that he killed? They get no chance at all. They are the ones who shouldn't have been killed. Fuck Tookie.

How is the government corrupt for killing a man who was found guilty? That's what they do. It would be no different than if it was white man. You act like no white man has ever been killed before. And if the government really was cold blooded as you say, they would have shot him the same way he did his victims.

You would be fighting to kill him if it was your Mom or Dad that he killed.

I know tookie did a lot of good deeds towards the end of his life..but one thing that can never be erased is the seed he planted in helping create the crips..that is something that will never go away..unimaginable suffering has spread from that...
If you ask a mother or father who had their kid(s) killed do to crip gang violence I'm sure they dont really see the value in tookies childrens books and would much rather have their son back..I dunno where he is goin now that he is not on this earth, but I do feel his death had to occur, to put the rreal victoms somewhat at rest

Trying a man for the worst of his crimes isn't necessary......just keep that in mind. Fuck, look no further than Saddam.

They could convict that bastard for the death of like 5 people during X incident, and kill his ass before they even get to the mass gassings and killing sprees.
