Goddamn that commute would make me kill myself lol. I literally have a 10 minute by foot commute to work.
Same here. i love it. My work, my favorite bar, my baby's mom and my sons preschool are all within a mile of my house. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Well maybe the baby's mom but it's nice because I get to spend more time with my son than if she lived farther away.

that's because a lot of people from cali are moving to austin even though it's not all that great. Take it from a person like me who's been living here for 20 years of all my life. The summers in austin are horrible. It gets over 100 degrees for at least 7 months. I don't understand why people are so desperate to move here. Austin is full of rich people right now who make within $150k-$250k per year or around $1 million-$2 million a year. The is no low class like in santa fe. You're either middle class or high class. No low class. Cali used to be great 15-20 years ago, maybe even 30 years ago. I don't know. The same with texas.

Yeah, fuck. I like San Diego cause they have incredible weather year-round and shit, hopefully my girl's big bros can get me a good job once I get done with school, lol. Yo Shea, if you were in Spokane, you'd probably make a lot less but still 2 G's would get you a DOPE ass pad. Spokane metro area has like 500,000 so its not like the middle of nowhere, but the city is expanding like crazy, a lot of people selling houses for a grip in Cali and then they can come up here and get a hella hella nice ass crib for like 250,000-350,000 and then have some cash leftover. Shit is crazy

It sucks that I have to move there, but thats where the woman is from and that's where I guess I gotta go. At least for now. Im pissed because I have to register my pistols and my CWP is invalid out there. I have 6 fuckin clips for my XD-40 and they're all 12 rounds. any of yall know anyone lookin to trade for some 10-rounders? lol Shit

No offense dude but if you are coming from Spokane damn near anywhere you live in Cali is going to be expensive as fuck to you in comparison to there unless you live in like one of the valleys or out in the desert.
Shoot, there barely are any apartment for under a G in the greater Seattle area!

for 193 my dad bought a house in the suburbs of Georgia 3beds , 2 1/2 baths the basement has an additional apartment with 2 beds and 1 bath... The whole house adds up to 5 beds,3 1/2 baths,3 living rooms, 2 kitchens... Nice neighborhood with pool, tennis court, pond and playground.... This was back in 2004 before my mom fucked him up with a nasty divorce

I've been looking at apartments and shit online for the San Diego area, and wtf.... How do you even get started down there?! I met my girl here in Spokane, but she's in college here and plans on moving back down to Encinitas this December where she's from. And I plan on going with her... but this shit is ridiculous. I'm a student and work part time, and plan on going to Cal San Marcos, but I'm 26 So I'm hoping I'll be gettin plenty of financial aid help, especially for rent, but I probably wont start school for another 6 months or so after moving there.
My question is, do most jobs pay a lot more down there? Because with my car payment and all that other shit, the cheapest one-bedroom apartments I've seen are like a G a month, no less. There's a couple for 800-900 but not much. Just wondering if any of yall got some advice for your boy. I'm strugglin tryin to figure this shit out lol.

Also I rhyme, how is it sellin albums out there? I doubt ill make enough to support myself doin that shit, with all my "Evergreen State" hippie music (haha, jk)

oceanside, escondido, vista, look at those surrounding areas for your search. since you are a student you may wanna look at low income housing. those places are not ghetto at all and are luxury apartments.
however you will be lucky to find a 1 bedroom for around $850 bro. SD is very expensive.

What about Fremont or even Gilas? Cheaper housing but still driveable
YUP!

More than likely moving to Gilroy or Morgan Hill, been looking out there as well & just got off the phone ( no DJPIMP ) with someone who is renting a property in Gilroy & I am gonna go take a look. (5.5 acres, 4 bedroom 2000+sq ft for only 2300 which is a STEAL)

saw a place on the southside of SJ last night that was clean too.

gonna buy in a few years, but the time just isnt right at the moment for me.
