What's the point of signing rappers if you can't put em out? David Banner is cool but he ain't even went gold with his album, he got his own career to worry about, so he's not in a position to help anybody out. I know you talking in general, but all I can say is that most major labels only come around when the buzz is strong enough, and they still busy with the Houston bandwagon right now-glad to see Bun B and them finally getting recognition though. Plus most label run by the artists don't have that much power. I guess G-Unit and the whole machine could probly sign a bay rapper and make him platinum, wack or not, but I can't think of too many others right now.
