PC-100 and PC-133 still has 128 MB of RAM.

Story: I needed some pc-100 for my keyboard. shit was hella expensive every where I looked. I Looked through all my old shit, asked the IT dude at work. NADA! I get home...look some more...still nothing. I look out the window and there are two old ass computers sitting next to the dumpster. One had a 256 stick in it. the other had two 64 sticks in it. Not much...but better than the onboard 32mb I was dealing with. Wife and Kids lookin at me crazy...cause I'm goin ape shit over someones garbage....lol.

EDIT: you dont see many folks using Rambus RAM....interesting. Rambus isnt very good even compared to PC-100/133. High latency times and that shit gets HOT AS FUCK...thus them all having heat sinks on them.

You must have a PIII CPU im guessing?

The mobo/cpu/ram is only ~ $70
Closer to $80 actually.

That mobo/CPU combo wont do you much in the way of anything outside of checking e-mail, though.

Also, the guy didnt put in the fact that used cases usually have old, underpowered PSU's that probably wont last much longer.

However, you can get a 40GB HD for nder $35.
