I may be late but lately Ive been hearing people that say they hate trance, house and shit but they are starting to dig Dubstep. I didnt know WTF it was but I took a listen to a few tracks and to me, it aint nothing but trance melodies mixed with a down south "bounce, bounce" type Drum pattern.

Yeah it's a form of Electronic Dance Music. It falls under the same category as Drum N Bass. I can listen to Drum N Bass, but Dubstep is not my cup of tea.

But yeah, a lot of youngsters especially are into it right now. I think because it's the closest thing to Hiphop and Rock. It's like a electronic combination of both.

But dubstep is not the same as grime. Although they're similar. I don't associate it with rave music but maybe that's what kids are doing nowadays.
