They are officially the best team in the AFC. After losing a close battle in which they were manhandled by Philly's defence, they re-group and take out Baltimore on Monday night in a real snot-knocker divisional game that went into overtime... Then, they go on the road on a short week in another primetime game to Jacksonville and pull out the victory with a 4th quarter drive. This team is delivering in the face of adversity. After being a sub-par road team last season with losses to the Jets, Ravens, Broncos and Cardinals, Mike Tomlin has this team focused on the bigger picture, and he deserves his credit where it's due....

Ben has taken an absolute beating not only this season, but over the last 3 years. He has a swollen right hand, partially separated right shoulder, and an injured right knee. They are putting up points on the offence when it matters, and the defence is playing great. Probably one of the most banged up teams in the league, still finding ways to win.....book them a seat in the playoffs.......

NAh, the steelers are the best team in the AFC

If I thought the Titans were, I would've made a thread about the Titans being the best team in the AFC.....The Titans have beat teams that are a combined 5-17. Take Albert Haynesworth away and the Titans are 2-3 at the absolute best, we witnessed that last year...Don't get me wrong, they are a very good team, but just not the best in the AFC

We will find out Dec. 21st who the better team is...

it doesnt matter which way you ice it.....if the season ended today the titans would have home field throughout and a bye....

talk to the 5-0 and make any excuses you want.....the titans are the best team in the afc

I don't think the Titans will be the best team at the end of the season

but right now you gotta give it to em because they're undefeated... IMO

Yea, they would have a bye and face the Steelers in a conference championship, and lose at home....

If you put Kerry Collins behind the Steelers O-Line that old washed up alcoholic would be on his back every play. Ben is playing banged up and with a lot of heart right now, I can't see any other quarterback in the league who could stand up to that kind of pressure and still make the big plays; yet another reason why they are the best team in the AFC.

And in case you haven't noticed, they were down to their very last running back last week, signed a couple to play tonight, and Mewelde Moore still ran for 99 yards....Put any back in there, its all about the system....

HUGE game for Pittsburgh. 4-1 ain't bad. Wasn't really even close to a "blowout" but if you watched the whole game it's clear that the Steelers dominated this game overall. Much respect to Mewelde Moore for stepping up, and even more respect to the best overall QB in the NFL, Ben Roethlisberger for taking control of the game and also for flexin nuts and playing through the injuries. Thank you lord for the bye week.. we have a lot of individuals that need to rest up, perfect timing, and I can't wait for them to win a bunch more football games after that.

PS.. I would also like to give props to the rest of the AFC North for sucking balls this season. We don't need, but appreciate your help.

See ya in the playoffs

Oh yeah.. and thanks to all the ESPN and other Sports analysts who didn't give the Steelers a chance this Sunday. Keep us under the radar.. I love it.

the steelers are always under the radar. thats the way the pats used to be as well which is why i loved the steeler/pats rivalry more than the colts/pats rivalry.

Giants are the best in the league at the moment and not many people give them credit for it. But yeah watching Titans and especially Steelers play they are on another level, I love the pass rush, wish the niners would do it like them.

Titans lost tons of talent in the offseason, and have problems at the QB pos, and are STILL undefeated, Jeff Fisher is a top 3 coach in the nfl.

Titans beat Jacksonville, Houston, Baltimore, Cincy, Minnesota.

Steelers beat Jacksonville, Houston, Baltimore, Cleveland and lost to the Eagles.

I'd say the two are about even right now. Tennessee might be 5-0, but luckily Tennessee plays Minnesota, Chicago, Detroit, and Green Bay. Steelers are stuck with Philly, Dallas, Washington, and the Giants.

I'm not too sure you can say Tennesee is better than the Steelers based on record alone.

Either way, I said it in the preseason, I'll say it again now. Steelers can make the playoffs with an 8-8 season, and that's all that really matters. I LOVE the Steelers, but to say that they are the best in the AFC right now has more to do with how bad the AFC is (Chargers, Colts, Pats) and not how good the Steelers have got.

Either way...hell of a game. Nice to see our backups stepping up to get the W.
