It's about time to bring this thread back up.
5-1 coming out of the easy part of the schedule. Next up.. Giants, Redskins, Colts, Chargers.
I'm feeling confident about this stretch.. I'm thinkin 3-1. Willie's comin back, not to mention that Mewelde Moore prooved to be a perfect fit in the Pittsburgh running game. Harrison and Woodley are the best OLB tandem in the league. And Ben might be the best (and most under-rated) overall QB in the NFL. Oh yeah, and Hines Ward knocks the living shit out of everyone.
Anyways.. right now, the Steelers are the best team in AFC. (please don't try to say that the Titans or the Bills are better).
It's still very very early in the season.. but let's just say if the Steelers are in Super Bowl XLIII.. I won't be overly surprised.

All that matters is that Pittsburgh gets into the playoffs. The Steelers seem to play better with their backs against the wall anyway. The regular season really don't mean shit, because everyone knows the playoffs is where it really matters. It has been nice to see Pittsburgh winning still after all the injuries.
Right now Pittsburgh's two weaknesses which would cause them to fuck up in the playoffs would be:
1) Bruce Arians questionable play calling on offense! (Steeler fans know what I mean)
2) Dick LeBeau calling too many Blitzes (being to predictable on defense). Our Corners are below average and shouldn't be forced to play man all the time.
Other than that I have huge confidence in our Offense as long as Big Ben has the freedom to call his plays when needed. Same goes for our 3-4, Nickel, Dime etc....
Our Kick Return and Kick Off suck ass right now though. Steeler fans, can you tell me why Najeh is returning Kick Offs? I never could understand that one???

Our corners are below average? Chad Johnson's 1 TD the other day was the first he had scored on Pittsburgh in years. I think both McFadden and Taylor are solid..
I'm not gonna argue over whether TN is better or not, but the only teams I fear right now are in the NFC. This week should be a great game..
