a lil re-hash of some "news" thats been known for at least a month now. but at least the giants are still "interested."

A source tells Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that the Red Sox, Giants and Padres are among five teams interested in David DeJesus.
We have heard the Red Sox and Giants for well over a month now, but the Padres are a relatively new suitor. DeJesus, 30, is batting .320/.386/.446 with five homers and 37 RBI in 350 at-bats with the Royals this season. With his fantastic defense, he would be a nice fit in PETCO. Keep in mind that DeJesus's contract contains a very affordable $6 million club option for next season, so it would cost them.

Buster Olney of ESPN.com reports that the interest for Brewers outfielder Corey Hart is "picking up."
With the trade deadline looming, this shouldn't be a surprise. Olney mentions the Rays and Giants among the teams interested in Hart, which isn't really new information. If anything, it will be interesting to see where Hart fits in the market since Jayson Werth is apparently available.

Jeff Fletcher of AOL Fanhouse reports that the Giants, Rangers and Angels are among the teams that have shown interest in Ty Wigginton this month.
Wigginton would make sense for any number of teams. It's worth noting that he has batted just .201 with two home runs and 14 RBI since June 1, but he is a right-handed bat capable of playing third base, second or first.
