What would your thoughts be on this line-up:
Torres
Sanchez
Huff
Sandoval
Uribe
Rowand
Molina
Schierholtz

I almost think Schierholtz could be moved up to (3) so that there would be more speed in the top of the lineup.

I like what Mychael Urban was saying after the game on knbr yesterday. Giants need to quit looking for those huge bats cause there was only man who constantly hit em out of our park and he's been retired for years now. Instead, they should be getting a couple of burners and play more small ball, being extra aggressive on the base paths.

We are aware our offense sucks, belieeeeve me. I wish we could provide all the run support in the world for our pitchers, I think there will never be anyone that can hit quite like Barry in a Giants uniform ever again. On some real shit.

We used to be beasts back before 2003. After that we turned into a pitching + defense team.

And to top it off Sharks get swept too daaamn bad weekend.

Bowker, Downs, Velez, Torres etc all from the minors. It's the veterans that make all these millions we should be pointing the finger to.

I want Renteria GONE after this season. Just let Uribe play SS permanently. I would've liked to have seen Jesus Guzman at least learn 1st base or some shit, it's not very hard.

Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle writes that the Giants are considering significant changes to their starting lineup.
Scoreless over the past 20 innings, the offense obviously needs a significant jolt. While they await the return of Mark DeRosa, the team is reportedly mulling moving Freddy Sanchez to third base, allowing Juan Uribe to play second base. Pablo Sandoval would flip over to first base, a promising development for ongoing duel eligibility. With Sandoval at first base, Aubrey Huff would move to left field. The biggest losers here would be John Bowker and Nate Schierholtz, as they would be benched in favor of the hot-hitting Andres Torres, who would start in right field. The team could also revisit the idea of promoting Buster Posey, but they'll try to solve their offensive woes with the current 25-man roster for now. Stay tuned.

Jeremy Affeldt underwent an MRI on Monday which revealed a strain in his left hamstring.
Affeldt suffered the injury while trying to field a bunt during the eighth inning of Sunday's game. He will be reevaluated over the next few days. The Giants have an off-day on Monday, but they can ill-afford living without one of their top relievers for long. Affeldt has a 3.12 ERA over his first 17 appearances this season.

Mark DeRosa (wrist) will not be activated from the disabled list on Tuesday, the first day he is eligible.
The Giants still want DeRosa to make a few appearances down on the farm and DeRosa has yet to report to any of the club's many minor league affiliates. He has been sidelined sine May 9 with a sore left wrist and probably won't be ready for the big leagues until Thursday, Friday, or later.

Todd Wellemeyer will make his next scheduled start against the Nationals on Tuesday.
With an off-day scheduled for Monday, the Giants had considered skipping the Wellemeyer in the rotation. Still, Wellemeyer is 2-4 with a 5.71 ERA over eight games (seven starts), so he has very little margin for error. Tim Lincecum will start with an extra-day of rest on Wednesday.

^^ I thought that article was funny cause essentially what you are doing is just shuffling all the position players and bumping Scheirholtz out the line-up!!!! Not gonna solve much @ all!!!

and Schierholtz is still batting almost .300. he's got above-average defense, why cant he just get some solid playing time??? obviously hes not the problem.

Giants GM Brian Sabean indicated Monday that the Giants won't call up catching prospect Buster Posey anytime soon.
Posey, 23, is batting an impressive .344/.435/.525 this season, but the Giants want him to continue to work on his defense down at Triple-A Fresno. Plus, Bengie Molina isn't going anywhere. "We can't see how Posey would immediately fit in as regards to playing time," Sabean said Monday. "We want an idea that he's going to get significant time. In this snapshot, it's not presenting itself yet." Still, a mid-June promotion seems about right.

finally got some offense going. Also Nyjer Morgan is from SF, i was trying to find out what high school he went to but all i could find was that he went to Walla Walla CC in Washington.

Mark DeRosa is scheduled to visit with a wrist specialist in Baltimore on Thursday.
According to Henry Schulman of the San Francisco, the consult is more about information and "peace of mind." He hopes to play again by as soon as this weekend.
