Im proud of Zito. He is finally pitching with a purpose. And, he is actually earning his pay check. Doesnt erase the past, but he sure can ease the pain of his contract by playing well the rest of the way.

No trades. We work with what we have right now. Hey, you were all happy with DeRosa and Huff, so STFU and live with it.

On the flip side, the two guys I was lobbying for, Hudson and Dye, aren't exactly makin noise either, with one of them out of the league. And in addition, I've lobbied for extra PT for Velez and Torres, and that's turned out mediocre at best.

We're only 20 games into the season, no need for a trade. Its amazing how good the pitching is though, and how poor the hitting is. There's a light at the end of the tunnel with the O, but I bring up time and time again, the teams we have trouble with are FAST, they move from first to third on a base hit, they steal, hit balls to the gap, etc. And until we want to be that team, I think offensively we are inferior.

naw not a trade right now but when the time is right. im happy with derosa and huff. i just think we need a big bat in the middle that can drive in runs. its way to early to trade now.

who do you guys think we should try and get by the trade deadline?

Giants need a bat desperately or its gonna be a long season. I suggest a trade asap. Basically the Giants are letting good pitching go to waste

it's been that way since lincecum came up, wasted pitching and even more so now that Jonathan Sanchez seems to have some command back and Zito looking like his cy young days.. problem is we need a TRUE power hitter to hit homeruns in ATT. The only player I can think of and that i would actually trade for is Adrian Gonzalez, his numbers are good in ATT he could've fit the team nicely but we already have Huff @ 1st.

Since we have Sandoval in the Infield we need a true power hitting outfielder, we thought Rowand was that guy but hitting homeruns here is hard

lol was at the game last year when Sanchez was wild and almost headhunted Utley. Then he blasted a homer shortly after.
