There have been some concerned cases of large banwaves in Grand Theft Auto Online*exclusively on the Xbox 360 game console and it seems very likely that the people who benefited the most from this exploit were targeted.

Though unconfirmed, one person who claims to be victim of the ban hammer allegedly called the Rockstar Support team and their response was something like...
"We're aware of the issue and until we can fix it, we'll ban anyone with a history of abusing this design flaw. It will ruin others' enjoyment by disbalancing the economy that's vital to the Online experience. We're in discussion with Microsoft, too, to escalate these bans from online privileges to user accounts as a statement against these antics. We don't expect any outrage from the law-abiding playerbase who haven't devalued others' items and hard-work with an exploit - these the customers we are proud to help."

Naw Microsoft would b retarded if they "banned" ppl from using Xbox live b/c of rockstars neglegance, I mean come on it would hav been smart to beta test the online portion first right? And if they did they had morons beta testing for them.....anyway as to my knowledge it's rockstar making moves as of now rockstar has only "asked" MS to ban ppl.....
