Since this show has recently become decidedly predictable, lets see how accurately I can guess the plot line for the remainder of the episodes.

Something @BUTCHER 206 said about Gomez's (Stephen's) acting being terrible the last few episodes got me thinking and was the last piece to put this together.

The last few episodes play out like this:

Gomez (along with a few Nazis) die in the shootout from the last episode, very predictably leaving the 3 main characters unscathed while only secondary characters are killed by some super coincidental divine intervention (the actor was pissed about this which is why his acting suffered as of late).

Walt, Hank and Jesse all survive the shootout and the Nazis take Hank and Jesse as prisoners to leverage Walt into more than 1 cook, adding the "brothers" they lost as a debt owed to them by Walt.

The spoiler scene we saw at the beginning of an earlier episode of Walt with longer hair and a high powered rifle is him making preparations to rescue Jesse and Hank.

Walt is able to rescue Hank and/or Jesse but is heroically killed by Todd's uncle during the rescue, very predictably passing any remainder of "bad guy" stigma from Walt to the Nazi drug dealer scapegoat, because no one can argue with the nazi being the bad guy.

I really hope I am wrong. If I am, I would say the show regains it's "elite" status, if I am right (close), then the show falls back into the "good" category.

Or he poisons himself and leaves a tape that hank did it. But then Dave the shrink is like oh yeah Marie said she was gunna murder this dude. So she gets busted and cries soooo much

Either way might bring everyone together against the nazi.

I found that shooting scene corny as all hell. They showed that AA-12 off so much that gun alone especially aimed down the sights would have murked them.

I wish they just used some common sense and made the DEA SUV bulletproof, things could have made more sense, I dont know how Walt is alive in that car getting swiss cheesed lol

But regardless ill put it in the same class as the Gus explosion scene, where he walked out with half a face and fixed his tie. Just need to prolong shit for dramatic effect. Meh, still my show, just a couple surreal scenes have really taken away from it.

Hank and Gomez are goners...should've brought backup but Hank had to play this whole thing so hush hush that he's got no help

but dealing with Walter I'd have a plan B, C and D!

Man...this is getting too good...I really really wish the show wasn't ending even though after the next few episodes I'm sure there's not gonna be anyone left

Walter is the best example of anti-hero anti-bad guy...cause I be ROOTING for him even though he be on some evil immoral shit half the time

Breaking Bad Spinoff Series Better Call Saul Confirmed - IGN

AMC and Sony Pictures Television confirmed today that they have reached a licensing agreement for a spinoff of Vince Gilligan’s landmark AMC/Sony Pictures Television series Breaking Bad.*As conceived, the new series is based on the show’s popular Saul Goodman character with the working title Better Call Saul. Plans call for Saul to be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.
The possibility of a Saul Goodman spinoff series was revealed last April. With the recent ratings hike that Breaking Bad has been enjoying, it's felt like more and more of a distinct possibility, as the network would want to capitalize on the audience interest in the show, and characters, as quickly as possible.

The good ones end though before they get stupid and jump the shark. Plus writers, directors always go onto new endeavours so usually shows that stay on too long end up weak. Five seasons is perfect, imo.

Only exception is Game Of Thrones. That needs to continue for like 12 years

As long as the spinoff had some of the same writers I would have liked a show revolving around Gus and his story.

Makes sense....Saul Goodman prequel. I always wondered if it would take place after BB in the timeline. Well Jesse and his boys knew or knew of Saul when he was introduced to the show, so while I don't expect Jesse to appear, I hope Badger and Skinny Pete are on there

'Better Call Saul' will hopefully be a success. And if it is half as good as BB I will be satisfied.

I have a feeling it will be a fantastic show though. It has infinite possibilities of where the story line can go and all the crazy situations he can get into. Virtually any type of person could walk into that door and take the show anywhere, which will keep it fresh and from getting repetitive and boring.
