1999 Atlanta Falcons 5-11
14-2 previous season. Superbowl loss is followed by a season with a string of injuries and wear and tear on Jamal Anderson's knees catches up with him.

2000 Tennessee Titans 7-9
13-3 previous season. No playoffs, lots of injuries.

2001 NY Giants 7-9
12-4 previous season. No playoffs. Injuries, lots of turnovers all season.

2002 St. Louis Rams 7-9
14-2 previous season. QB injuires

2003 Oakland Raiders 4-12
11-5 previous season. LOL they sucked fast. Charles Woodson says coach is incompetent, yet he is retained and payed an enourmous amount of money for his mediocre play and often injured, this is the problem with the Raiders other than they fact that most of their players were close to being in a nursing home , go elderly.

2004 Carolina Panthers 7-9
11-5 previous season. Major injuries. jake delhomme injured, lose Kris Jenkins, Steve Smith for season, and Davis and Foster for long stretches of season

2005 Philadelphia Eagles 6-10

13-3 previous season. lose Burgess in free agency, lack of commitment to running game, injured offensive linemen, QB McNabb injures groin and has sports hernia

2006 Seattle Seahawks 9-7
13-3 previous season. Manages to sneak into playoffs because of extremely week division, however league MVP Shawn Alexander is injured most of season, offensive line loses key player, never the same. No run game whatsoever.

2007 Chicago Bears 7-9
13-3 previous year. Massive amounts of injuries on defense, lose star running back. QB controversies.

2008 Patriots 16-0
????Tom Brady out for season.

i have no flippin idea how the Cardinals made it to the Super Bowl with a 9-7 record. but they still did. well actually the Stealers did the same thing when they went against the 13-3 Seahawks and the Stealers and refs won that game. but back on topic. i believe that the Cardinals are not going to make it to the super bowl this season. not while their NFC West rivals have a healthy team with some major additions to the team. while the Cardinals made no major additions to their team and might acutally lose Boldin (MIGHT, not sayin they are, but at this point it seems they MIGHT lose him) but even if they do, they still have Fitz. the season isn't here yet, and anything can happen in the NFL. hell, even the Lions could be making it to the playoffs for all we know. shit is unpredictable. as well as Favre calling it quits and making a last second choice of coming back. lol

Losers make excuses, winners make it happen. Pittsburgh won that game fair and square. Get over it.

The Steelers finished the 2005 season 11-5 homie, winning their last 8 games in a row, 6 of which weren't played in Pittsburgh..

I'ts called being a championship team and steppin it up when it counts bro, we shined in the playoffs up until the last minutes of the SB props to the stealers for winning #6 but everybody knows both of holmes feet werent on the ground plus there was hella bad calls from the ref.. all gravy tho theres alwayz next season...

losing antonio smith hurt us.. we picked up cb Mcfadden from the stealers to replace r. hood plus we got hella money for free agency, its going to be intresting.. and as for boldin he aint leaving anywhere he'll get the money he deserves after his contract is up.. and even if we did loss Q we got fitz and steve breaston.. alot of folks aint knowin what breaston could do.. he a mufuckin beast.. check the stats.

CHRIS BEANIE WELLS MUTHAFUCKAZ!!!!!:)

cant wait for the season to start

GO CARDS!!

so what the hell do you expect after some bad officiating. come on man. just admit there were several bad calls that definitly helped out the stealers. say what you wana say about our so called excuses. you know damn well you'd be sayin the same damn shit if the tables were turned. so stfu. the only sb's the stealers deserved were the one's in the 70's. fuck your sb 40 and fuck your sb 43. i give props for the sb's in the 70's though.
