Rass Kass is fuckin ill though I can't deny that. I guess hyphe may be a movement for the younger kids but not for me. As time goes by there's always new fads replacing the old ones so I'm sure something new will eventually come along. All I can say is make good music and be original. Good ears can always tell imitation music from real music.

You know how These hardcore fans always exxagarate everything and no offense homie but compared to the rest of the bay rappers yuk IS "pretty" well known for a "underground" rapper in certain parts of the us....
His regime mixtape pushed alot of units in the US alone and dont get me wrong he is everything but "popular all over the nation" we are talking about a underground rapper that is signed to rapalot tho..
I live in south central LA and not alot of people out here know yuk but he does make the most money in the US tho and not overseas even tho he has alot of love there..
But he has a very large fanbase in the us so compared to other bay area rappers (not talking about the e-40s and too shorts of the bay) he is pretty well known throughout texas and cali and the midwest and when i say pretty wellknown i mean he has enough fans throughout the country to be making good money of this rapshit for a minute... cuz we are talking about someone that managed to sell 240k of his first solo, 400k of his 2nd and 180k of his last one without no "real" promo, no videoplay and no radio play... and imma audio engineer in LA that worked and still works with yuk and the regime so i speak from that perspective and not from a crazy fans perspective...

Who gives a fuck what they say "back east"? 90% of the east coast is on some hater shit anyway. They accept Ras cause he raps like a NY cat, but that's it.

The mainstream crowd don't know who he is, so of course he won't go platinum or anything. But like I said, he's a factor in the underground scene, he just gotta come with solid shit for a while and get his shit heard. There's still a stigma attached to him that he raps on wack beats. All he needs is a solid album with decent promotion and play in the right circles and he could get rid of that.
