I have to say, all the crap the girl was doing in the black shirt, well what do you expect. I do not understand though why he couldn’t take control of her, is she superwomen or is he just that weak? I mean couldn’t he have just picked her up and put her on the ground and handcuffed her.

The girl in the pink should have realized what she was doing while practically trying to engage with a cop, but I still think the punch was a little too much. That cop needs some better skills I mean honestly, who here has taken down someone and could have did it 10x faster than that cop. Maybe he didn’t want to go to the ground, understandable but then why not press her against the car, I mean what man could not hard press a female of that size against a car and force her arms back.

Seems like a lot could have been avoided if the cop would have secured them faster but once again it could have probably been completely avoided if the person wouldn’t have tried to resist. There is definitely something missing from the first part of the video, I can almost bet on that.

she cant get paid because she was the one that committed the first "battery" by touching the cop, so the cop could argue his punch was justified
Thats what i am getting at the clowns on the video were all hey did you get him punching her on video like she was going to get paid

Well break down the situation for us "cop lovers"

I by far do not care for cops for the most part but once they have you there is no need for any further resistance and if you do expect some what of force.
yea. If you are being harassed by a cop, the best thing you can do is shut the fuck up. Thats what the court system is for.

I hate all people who are dumb...and both the cop and the girl were dumb in this situation.
She's a young girl man. Cop fucked with her cuz of jaywalking. JAYWALKING. Cop doesn't have anything better to do than mess with a teenage girl??

Again, what would have the out cry been had she got tasered or pepper sprayed per protocol? She got off easy with a punch to the grill.
oh yeah a punch to the face was totally justifiable just because tasering or being shot is worse. Nice logic there comrade.

lol it was more than being annoying, she pushed the cop. What do you expect if someone pushes a cop?
Teenage girl tries to help her friend and gets punched in the face. Is that what you expect from those that are here to Protect & Serve? Further, again, this whole thing was because of jaywalking. Police should not further escalate a situation over something so silly and minor as jaywalking.

You call that a push? wow, she got in the middle of the two and separated them. That does not deserve an overhand rand to the face.

That officer did a horrible job over something that should have been a non issue.

I guess this is what is to be expected though. Police violence is nothing new so a punch isn't seen as such a big deal, regardless if the person was a teenage girl. We are used to hearing almost daily of a police shooting or tasering that this is the norm. No big deal. For me, I recognize the escalating violence and police brutality across the country in the past 10 years or so. There are specific reasons for that but I don't expect many of you to investigate what the reasons may be.

You idiots are saying oh well she's annoying therefor punch in the face is ok.
Go back and read my post, I stated I thought the punch was a little too much.

Is there a first part of the video I am missing because it kind of started after they were in the altercation, how do you know it was as simple as jaywalking and he tried to what arrest her, put her in handcuffs or what started it. I mean it could have been the cop being a complete asshole from the get go (good chance) but this we do not know.

I mean come on break down how the situation should have been handles since we are all idiots and don't seem to get it.
