can i get response from irocc, or mitch or coop for that matter i know yall be on the forums. and its your opinions that i want. im sure everyone would love to see all yalls takes on this, thats the artists, the producers, the djs, and the promoters or any of the real shakers and movers in the SD RAP GAME.
What it do my nigg!
Man if anybody that really knows me in my personal life, since i have been living here in diego know that this is what i always been wanting to do i was trying to atleast get a reputable from each set out here to feature on Bossman Hogg's upcoming mixtape but im not a reputable from Diego so my words dont mean shit i cant come between 30 year old funk, and on another note i can reach out to other rappers from different turfs but then again it goes back to some hood shit out of my power! We got the xplosive/siccness.net mag coming soon and this is our topic "Devided We Stand" so look for it in the next month or so. But back to your ?'s i'm still trying, everything i do is just for that cause or atleast make it look that way, its a good look for SD in my opinion. I have lived in all the major neighborhoods of diego for atleast 6 months since i have lived here and i have alot of ppl i associate with thru this music from every set out here, So hopefully i can pull this type of idea together with "The Free Black Mickey" mixtape that im really trying to get together in a few months.

thanx coop. how do people like mitch and rocc fell about this?
personally i never asked mitch that question, but i do know his heart is with the streets and his music so that's a toss up situation imo, rocc and mitch both have collaborated with alot of people from SD and other areas New West 1 & 2 is a prime example of what you are talking about it has been done already maurice j put that together nicely for SD. But a mixtape with all the major players from SD you would need the major player Dj's like Fingaz or something. And im speaking from me not them but what could something like that do for there carrers that they havent already established?

I know there are more than a few Dago Compilations out there including the "South East Streets" due out soon. I'm workin on a few mixtapes now and I hope to get some of the rappers I have met and networked with on it. I'm comin from the DJ point of view, havin niggas rock over mainstream and Underground Instrumentals, mixed up with original SD tracks. But I'm comin from the Gutter, I aint a Major player in this yet, I aint rockin no clubs, just a DJ who hauls speakers and turntables from Gig to Gig. So I gotta work with the cats that is willing to put in that work and expose themselves. And when the Bread is right I'll be getting at these Major Dago cats who is chargin for 16 bars.. But for now I do my best to expose Dago artists, Droppin Mitchy or LIL CS in between Lil Jon and 50 cent at house parties that I been doin from San Ysidro to Racho Penasquitos for the last 5-7 years. And as far a funk between sets/rappers, you gotta know who is willing to put the music first. Like Coop said you aint about to settle no 30 year funk with a compilation, but aint no harm in askin this cat or that cat if they wanna drop a verse, and let em know who else is gonna be featured on it. And as a DJ I may not be able to pay the rappers on my mixtapes but I'm lettin them know that I'm gonna do my best to promote the project and get they name out there more. But San Diego is bubblin...So many talented producers and artists in the city, we gettin there.

My 2 cents

hey when is one these djs or producers or mc's for that matter. gonna put together a true dago mixtape comp. u know other cities have done it. LA, the BAY, new york etc. i know there are some street politics that prevent a lot of stuff from happening. but it only makes sense. we have so many artist out there doing they thing vets like mitch and criket. also fresh and young niggas that are tryin to make a name for themselves. I know this is not the first time this has been said, but blood i'm tired of seein my city go no where fightin itself. I would appreciate it if some the actual artist could reply. it could only be good for the 619. also i think groups like siccness and rapordie could play a big part in making sumthin like this happen. how about nemo and coop?

HOLLA BACK PEOPLES!

I'M WITH WHATEVER FOR THE CITY
