Oscar, and heres why:

With all of Floyd's theatrics leading up to this fight, people are going to expect him to deliver. And by deliver, I don't think that just means to win the way he usually wins. I think people are expecting him to punish Oscar and stand toe to toe with him, like he promised...people want to see an all out war, even more so now with all of the hype behind it.

That will be Floyd's downfall for this fight, and his first real career humbling moment, because he's going to learn, that punches from a 154 pounder are much harder than one's at 130-147, where Floyd's been at most of his career.

I think Oscar & Co. are going into this match with the perfect gameplan...which I think is to force Floyd out of his element, and force him to stand up and brawl. Oscar is going to keep Floyd on the ropes as much as possible and cut the ring off. Look for Oscar to go to the body early, to try and negate Floyd's speed in the later rounds.

I'm a fan of both Oscar and Floyd's...I think that Floyd is pound for pound the best fighter in the world right now, but I feel like in order to be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Muhammad Ali, he needs a humbling moment, only to come back better the next time around.

Oscar by decision.

interesting. good post

floyd's gonna win just cause its floyd. everyone is talking about this is THE fight of the decade. yeah right, watch when mayweather beats de la hoya, everyone is gonna be talking about hopkins vs floyd being the fight of the decade. not hating on hoya, but his time is up and floyd is gonna have hoya hangs his gloves up while mayweather continues to persue greatness. hoya's time is up.

If Floyd was heavier a few years ago it could have been possible at 154 at the lowest. When Hopkins-Oscar fought, it was at a catchweight of 156 so you know Bernard could have made 154. Currently, Bernard's just too big. He fought Tarver at 175 and his upcoming fight with Winky will be at 170 so I don't see him losing enough weight to fight Floyd. I also think that's why Floyd said he could beat anyone from 154 down, rather than calling out the 160 lb'ers. The funny thing was Winky said he'd take the challenge at 154 and Floyd didn't want none.

Floyd and Winky? That would have been good. If Floyd didn't want none then maybe he felt Winky's defense is too good. I think Floyd could outpoint Winky though...

yeah f.roach is a smart trainer he uses each round to set up the opponent. but for real i think Mayweather got this. He has waited his whole career for this. From a Boxing stand point you'll see why. Folks don't be mad at the fight cause it NOT gonna be a slug fest. It's gonna go 12 with a controversial decision.

Don't want to thread jack...but its sorta related...

Aight, so I stumbled upon some De La Hoya - Mayweather tickets, at what seems like a too good to be true price.

Now, here's the email that the lady sent me...I haven't heard of this service that she mentioned, and it looks like she's from the UK.

All I wanna know, is does this look legit or not ? If so, I'm hopping on these ASAP...if it looks even the least bit fishy...I'll pass...

Hi there,

The tickets are available and $800 for this pair ($400 each) is a fair price since we are not ticket brokers. We just want to save some money. The fact is we are stuck with those tickets. We would hate to see the tickets go to waste. We have to selling them because we - me and my husband - we won't be able to make it to this event. Just decided to expand our honeymoon. We've decided to go to Manchester since it's a city that neither of us have spent much time in (I was only there for about 16 hrs total during my last trip to Europe and Alex, my husband, has never been...) and that we are both interested in exploring.

Regarding delivery and payment, I have found a way for us to complete the deal safely and fast, and in this way you will receive the tickets in less than 2 days, if you move fast as well. The solution is provided by a company called DPD (Direct Parcel Distribution) which is similar to Fedex, DHL or UPS, which will handle the payment and delivery of the tickets.

It will allow you to pay for the tickets only after you will receive them - this way you will see that they are genuine. Please click on the link below to the DPD website to see how we can complete the deal safely and fast directly from the website of the company where the procedure is explained:
http://postal-freight-service.com/interlinkDPD/uk_depot/index_en/details.html

Like I said, I will pay for an overnight delivery so you will receive them in time.
Please email me if you have any questions.

So what do you guys think ?!

i say dont do it if it seems to good to be true it probably is now if you got $800 to throw away if it is a scam then go for it but if you dont then dont risk it otherwise you'll be hella pissed and if you aint never heard of the company do some research first look up the better business bureau and see if they have or are linked up with this company and have them try to find out if this is a legit business but juss dont go for it
