Floyds split up again!
Former longtime Oscar De La Hoya trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. has left the camp of his son Floyd Mayweather Jr. and says he will not be involved when Floyd Jr. faces De La Hoya in a May 5 PPV superfight. "We're back to square one," Floyd Sr. told the Grand Rapid Press. "That's where we're at, we're back at the beginning. I do want to get back together with Little Floyd. I do want to get to know my grandkids. But if he doesn't want it to happen, so it will be." The last straw was comments made by Floyd Jr. on an HBO fight preview telecast criticizing the way Floyd Sr. brought him up. "I didn't do anything to Floyd except care," the elder Mayweather told the paper. "And when you get right down to it, he didn't do anything for me. Everything I've got, I got from De La Hoya."

do some of u actually watch boxing? neither one of them is gonna get destroyed if thats what u are expecting then u are going to be disappointed expect a cautious fight from both of them and its gonna go late in the rounds

Tough fight to call. Think De La Hoya is too big, like De LA Hoya vs Hopkins. De La Hoya couldn't handle the jump in weight. Don't know if Floyd can do the weight gain. Hopefully it's a good scrap. I'll be faded.

Oscar wins by KO. Who has Mayweather fought that is in the same leauge as Hopkins, Trinidad, Chavez and everyone else Oscars fought already? Mayweather is good but not good enough to beat Oscar. Easy decision.
