This was nothin less then a FIXED fight. theres NO WAY!!!! that de la hoya used his left jab ONCE and he didint even hit mayweather thru out the whole fight. larry merchant asked him " Why didint u use the Jab?" and De La Hoya Said " it just wasnt that night".... all they did was chase and hit. the whole night. that was more a mayweather thing. but damn that looked so fuckin fake.

even the announcer at the end said " Veteran fighters dont just NOT use the Jab".... De La Hoya and his company made there money. if i was in there position i would do the same thing. but damn, boxing is dead

In a good fight, they would have thrown and landed THREE times as many punches. One of the most boring fights I have ever seen. Anybody who says Mayweather didn't run is full of shit. His gameplan was to land a punch here and there to make it look like he was the active fighter, then duck and dodge so that DLH couldn't hit him. He would then make it to a decision, and then he would win on the scorecards. He never hurt DLH, DLH never hurt him. I want to see blood, I want to see boxers get stunned. I want to see boxers out of energy by the 12th round. Both of the boxers looked like they could have went another 12 rounds. This sport is for entertainment, so the fans should be entertained when we watch a fight. It's Mayweather's fault that the fight sucked so bad. He's a pussy and if he didn't fight toe to toe shouldn't brag about a win, because he didn't really earn one. This is the same gameplan that DLH used in the final rounds when he fought Trinidad. Everybody talked shit about the same thing back then. The difference with that fight though, was that DLH fucked Trinidad up the whole beginning of the fight. He felt that he was so ahead on the scorecards that he could play the hit and run game with Trinidad. The judges obviously didn't feel the same. I also noticed the punchstats seemed fucked up after rounds during this last fight. But I'm not gonna go back and recount them myself, because that would be torture.
