Im not sure on my position on how any of this is going to play out but I will definitely say this...40 deserves another GOLD album because he is too overlooked by mainstream...

Dont forget Baby Beesh (Bash) only did 22K first week on his GOLD Selling album "Tha Smokin Nephew"...so there is a definite GREAT possibility that 100K first week makes for good signs for Uncle 40...who no matter what the haters say IS The King of The Yay.

Also remember that touring and a second single and video can give this album much longer legs to do well over the whole year. Warner Bros is determined and so is Lil Jon and 40 so things do look good.

Soundscan I dont know you (or maybe I do we just dont know) but I will say this you definitely are up on your shit and some of your posts are very intelligent so I know that you are an industry cat but why does it seem like you are hatin' on 40?

I'm not trying to argue with you Im just curious...because if you are a Bay Area based industry person I would think you would be trying to help not harm the success of the Bay and it's artists.

The Hall of Game - GOLD
The Element of Surprise - GOLD
In a Major Way - PLATINUM (went gold in 95, hit platinum in 2002)

I wonder how much the his album was bootlegged just in the bay bet 10,000 or more the bootleggin will hurt his sales but he got a follow up single with that t pain track with the right video that will fa sho help just imagine all the people in the rest of the U .S.
