they didnt have anybody else to do it.....yeah fuck vince for taking the money....who cares about a madden cover? madden is way overused in this forum and its kinda embarrising......fuck madden and its cover......fun and addicting as that game is it has no clout in REAL SPORTS talk

that whole madden curse was BS in my eyes untill his ass got on that cover.....VY was a durable qb threw out his career untilll then

but he......as our leader.....as our "face of the franchise" has put us in the postion to go 8-8 (when we were spouse to be top 10 drafting his rookie year) and 10-6 (playoff berth.....when we were spouse to be WORST then the previous year)

VY is allways going to catch heat untill he plays the "qb" postion......as long as my titans are winning games and he puts us in the postion to win.......i wont complain......

That's the thing...he hasn't proven he can be counted on, but he's the ''face of the team''...Hall isn't that. Hall is a part of a defensive secondary. He's supposed to play a part, defend recievers, and HELP. Like I said before...YOU personally wouldn't even mention him, but he's mentioned ON HERE, from RAIDERS FANS. Vince is supposed to be the FACE of your team, the player to lead you to the playoffs, and the SB, and on and on and on. PLUS, where we he drafted at? 3 overall, was it? Has he lived up to ANY expectations? If they were to be inconsistant and immature, congrats. WE didn't draft Hall...we brought him in to be a player in a system.

he cant be counted on to put up good stats.....i totally agree...sorry if stats and fantasy points arent my thing......

but on the two minute drill with us down by a manageable amount i dont know who else on my team i could count on more....VY is usually extremly clutch in those postions.....whether it be running it OR throwing it.....VY has had some bad games and isnt a manning like qb and never will....sorry to crush the hopes of people that didnt know that wasnt the reason we drafted him in the first place lol

See, you're missing my point. I don't knock Vince Young for doing the cover. What was he supposed to do? Say "I don't deserve it" and turn it down? Of course not...but what I am saying is that if you want to say that Hall is the FACE of overrated...what has Vince accomplished that's any better?

You're going off center, here...I don't know the first thing about fantasy points, but stats do matter.

What did you draft him for? In case you're down by 3 with 1:44 left on your own 20, so you can put him in instead of Kerry Collins to drive you down and win the game? Seriously? What about the rest of the game? That doesn't matter?

A QB taken that highly should be a franchise type of QB who's going to anchor your offense for years to come, not just someone to run your 2 minute drills in scrimmage.

Going back to d hall... i do feel he is overrated... i never really watched him too much when he was in atlanta but always had heard he was a really good cb... i was excited when ge came to the raiders until actually watching him play i realized he is overrated

he did make that big int yesterday... but that was on favre really... he threw that shit right to hall

How do you know... were you coaching and called the coverage on that play? Are you really that stupid? That was Nate Clements' man and Harris was supposed to provide some kind of help probably over the top. So he burned both of them...

LOL at it wasn't his assignment... He made Moss look like the Moss that used to play with Culpepper. Ya boy got smoked...

So what happened on that 81 yard pass play the Clements gave up against the Saints to Devery Henderson? That wasn't his man either right? LOL... Clements has been giving up more than D. Hall... and don't forget those back to back penalties by Nasty Nate (unsportsman like conduct and that pass interference) in yesterday's game.

Common sense would tell you that your highest paid DB (being Nate Clements) will be assigned to cover the most explosive wide receiver in the NFL... that's why he was running behind Moss because he got smoked. Walt was supposed to provide help but he slipped and got his ass burned in the process too.

hes won us numerous games and hasnt cost us any (the only one that comes close to mind is the playoff game vs SD...which was just a bad game overall for EVERYONE).....in fishers game plan the QBs have to soley manage a game correctly to pull out a win.....its a huge debate on whos better right now....myself......being unbiased as possible towards my own team see NO DIFFERENCE again NO DIFFERENCE between what collins is doing and what vince did and has done.....collins makes mistakes just as vince does....collins misses and misses bad just like vince does...

our running game and defense have made us undefeated.....we are rellying more on those two things more then last year and VYs rookie year our defense was 31st......

the thing is even with all his INTs vince HAS anchored the offense for the years he has been here....the running game was more effective not to mention he himself can run like a deer.....

collins brings a lil better passing game but what vince does with his feet MORE then makes up for it...IMO

you wouldnt reconize it if you havnt watched the titans games the last couple years since vince has been drafted....the minute he was drafted this franchise got turned around completely.....we were 6th overall the year before then 3rd overall in the draft VY came in....and he SINGLE HANDIDLY with the help of PACMAN turned this franchise back into a .500 franchise then into a playoff berth with 1 year under his belt

Oh yeah, were you sitting right there on the sidelines? Did you see the vid that I posted? If Clements was "shallow" then why was he so 30 yards downfield trying to cover Moss? Quit lyin' you stupid mf. You're trying to make up stupid excuses for Clements getting toasted.

i dont know what common sense your talking about but thats not nearly as easy to say as you make it seem.........

PLENTY of teams dont MAN UP dbs against WRs and soley have SIDES.....

the titans do.....so who ever lines up on what ever side is who that corner is going to get......

Well then Moss was lined up on Clements side so either way it goes zone/man... that was Clements' responsibility. Look at the got damn video... why was he so close and chasing him from behind then? That was his man on that play!

because walt harris was late on it, and regardless of the play, they are told to not give up on catching the player, when he saw walt wasnt there he tried to catch up, it wasnt his assignment
