is anyone really making a big deal about it?
I think everyone is happy we got the win...
we're not saying that we're gonna go to the playoffs because of this or anything... shit... as far as I'm concerned this win doesn't mean THAT much
it's good momentum for our team... and good for Cable to get his first win as a coach... but it was still an ugly win at home... I'm happy and I'll take it... but I'm not gonna make a big deal about it
and not that this really matters... BUT...

the jets scored 82 combined points and were playing good football. it was good to see a first ballot hall of famer like favre in person a second time. this time we played good football. nothing spectacular but a win. in a fashion we aren't use to. seeing those raider legends on the sideline was great. did anyone one see that crazy linebacker from the 70's hounding rob ryan?

If you've been watching as much football as you claim you stupid mf.... you would know that Clements has been getting toasted more than D. Hall has this year. D. Hall gives up a lot of passes in front of him, Clements has been letting receivers get behind him and go for scores. To hell with your metrics! D. Hall is better than Clements period!

ahahahahahaha yeah ok...D HALL has never outplayed clements in any of the years in thier short careers....your making your self look real stupid.....clements got paid because he was considered one of the TOP corners in the leauge (fell off with less pass rush no doubt).....D hall got paid because al thinks he can win with that shitty ass team and D hall would be the icing on the cake.....

D Hall is a primetime big play very likeable player.....
he sucks at defending and being a CB but he is one of the best athletes in the game...
he gets a lot of ints because of his balls skills and because he gets picked on game after game (even as a starter).....
i dont take anything away from what D HALL has DONE.....but i can easily point out what he HASNT (which is prove him self a even semi-solid CB)

I think Hall is overrated, as well, but the face of it? How is he that overrated? Seriously...he's OVERPAID, but Al signed him; what do you expect?
He doesn't get any media coverage, doesn't get magazine articles, doesn't get air time on PTI or Around The Horn...he's overrated to YOU because of all the talk he gets on here. You wouldn't even notice him as much if people on here (a bay-area based site) didn't bring him up because he's on the Raiders.

Great way of putting it. I can accept that, but in that case...what about what Vince HASN'T done? I like Vince a lot, but he HASN'T proven he can be a consistant QB in this league. His decision making his poor, his patience is nonexistant, and his mental strength is questionable.

So far Hall has looked like nothing special...he's not playing much better than Fabian Washington did last year. Like Ive said before, I would've much rather traded for a player at a position that we actually needed(DT Shaun Rogers) or drafted a playmaker with the pick(WR Desaun Jackson). IMO its looking like another dumb trade by Al...
how many CBs do get press coverage LOL? champ baily one of the best of all time cant get more then a time slot on PTI....
i think D HALL is overrated because every 1 seems to THINK he is A LOT better then he actually is.......its hard to get ANY press time when your on the falcons/raiders....the only time he DID get press coveage is when he was taking it to the house for 6.....but they dont show how he just toasted for 6 n the previous pass completion......
he hasnt proved we can count on him throughout the game.....but im still pretty confident in the man when were down by 3 or 7 and put the ball in his hands at the end of the game......VYs game winning/tieing drives have been the talk of his career....and something that wont get mentioned......
i agree that his stats suck and isnt on par with a qb that has been in the leauge for 2 plus years.....
but he......as our leader.....as our "face of the franchise" has put us in the postion to go 8-8 (when we were spouse to be top 10 drafting his rookie year) and 10-6 (playoff berth.....when we were spouse to be WORST then the previous year)
VY is allways going to catch heat untill he plays the "qb" postion......as long as my titans are winning games and he puts us in the postion to win.......i wont complain......
