Had to be when I had open heart surgery. I had my aorta takin out and replaced with a metal valve, about 4 years ago

felt like 1000 pounds on my chest. couldnt walk for a month. tube in my dick, chest tube in me (was awake when they took it out, hurt like a mutha) lost 60 pounds cuz i didnt eat for ever (just wasent hungry) morphined up for a month. was in surgery for 9 hours, Heart stopped for an hour or so (kept alive by a machine). chest cracked open so its wired shut, so the wires hurt some times out of nowhere if i move wrong. was depressed for a month cuz it was august and i couldnt walk, i just layed on the couch. broken ribs cuz of the surgery. just a horrible month. wouldnt wish it upon anyone., And i'll probably have to do it again in 25 years.

I've also dislocated my knee cap 3 times. the first time i was drunk and wrestlin with someone and it popped out. it stayed out for like 20 mintues. Me and my friends didnt know what to do, i woudnt let them touch it, cuz they wanted me to pound some whiskey and have them put ti back in place. i was like fuck that. it went back into place on its own after a grip though. it hurt soooooo bad.

hey shadow, on some real shit...what were the circumstances behind that dogg...cause i think i have heart problemss...

how old were you....
did you have an existing condition
do you / did you smoke weed
i was born with a murmur and i get chest pains a lot and it scares the shit outta me...no lie...

I have marfans syndrome. They found out i had this condition when i was about 5. thank god. If they wouldnt of caught it, my aorta would of ruptered (sp) and i would of most likely died, but since they did catch the condition, i was monitered with check-ups once a year. then 4 years ago with my normal check-up, they thought that it was time to have the surgery, becuz my aorta was growing to the point were it could burst at any time and i would of bleed out and died. so it was pretty scary.

if your having chest pains and shit. i would go to the doctors and get a EKG or a echo cardiograph. just to make sure its nothin serious. chest pains arent nothing to ignore. you know what i mean. so i suggest you look into gettin it checked out.

^^^ How did they find out you had it? Because I too get chestpains like a mutha fucka, along with dizzyness and headaches. Ive gone to the doctors a bunch a times and Ive undergone numerous EKGs, treadmill test, breathing tests,, I even wore a heart monitor all day one time. They cant find shit wrong with me.

Yeah, I get chest pains/fast hearbeats too. I got tested too and they say nothin' wrong with me. Dr said the fast heartbeat is probably the chronic talkin to me... and said chestpains probably a side effect to the meds he prescribed.

marfans also effects the joints and ligaments. my mom took me to the doctors becuz i was bigger than all the other kids and i was having trouble walking. thats when they found out i had marfans. I'm pretty big still (6'4 260).

Thats weird you have chest pains, but they cant find out why. Does it bother you much? like do you have these chest pains daily? or just from time to time. crazy shit man.

man i once got it so bad i drove myself to the ER....i really thought i was gonna die...scared as fuck calling my broad back and tellin her what happened....
fuckin doc did an EKG and said i was fine.....gave me pills for anxiety that just put me to sleep....

damn i just read yalls post and its the same shit

^^^ Pretty much daily. The docs say Im healthy, except for the fact that Im overweight (6 ft, 250 pounds) So its prolly just cause Im a fat mutha fucka.

Hey for real, I did the same thing a few times in the begining, like back in 98. I could of sworn I was having a heartattck, so I drove to the ER and they were like, theyre aint shit wrong with you. Shit happened again the next day and I went back, they were like what the fuck you doing here? We just cleared you, youre healthy. So they said I have anxiety or panic disorder. I aint buying it.

So it happenes pretty much daily and I just have to avoid the pain, Im mean shit if the docs cant find nothing physically wrong, what else can I do?

melo and shad...mnine happen prolly like once a weeej or so, sometimes i go months without it happening...i hate docs and it took a lot to got to the ER, and when they told me it was anxiety or panic attacks i was pissed, now i try and not pay attention to it....but i already know it gonna be the reason i die, just like my father..i've just accepted it

Damn y'all get chest pains too? For me it's not chest pains, I know it's my heart. It started happening when I began eating my own food, making my own shit, in my case fast food. I've gained up to 25 pounds of fat. My heart acts up once in awhile, like musty said, sometimes once a week sometimes a few months. It scares me to death. It feels like a heart attack, but people tell me it's just a heart burn (dunno wtf that feels like). If you had a muscle cramp before, let's say your hamstring or calves, that's what it feels like except it's your heart, sharp ass pain. It happens most when I'm laying down and trying to get up. In the process of getting up my heart acts up and I freeze like it was cramp and I lay back down and I'm cool. Not a cool feeling. I went to the doctor when I was sick as fuck, like for 4 weeks straight, he hooked me up with some penicillin and when I was there I asked him about my heart. He just said it's probably heart burns. He said I'm young and healthy and there's nothing to worry about. And to come back if it keeps bothering me. It still does bother me once in awhile but I never went back to the doctors. It happens mostly after eating food; when I eat fast food, I inhale that shit I rarely chew. Maybe that's the problem, my heart can't accept food that hasn't been chewed and broken down. For me it'll hurt up to bout' 1-2 minutes and it's gone. It's been happening for a few years now. It's still in my concious but I tend to ignore it.

also my fucked my ankle while playing Rugby, tore all the ligaments in my foot, the inside of the foot was completely BLACK in color and it looked like i was hiding two tennis balls under the skin of my ankle. It was so puffed up that I couldn't wear a shoe on that foot for a while.

i gotten heaps of unjiries playin Rugby but that shit took the cake, i was out for a good half season.

Damn! We need the Heart pain thread...I've been feeling some tension in my chest for a couple weeks now...I'm 26 so I don't want to think that I got a problem already, but I did quit smoking, and it does feel better...but sometime when I'm sleeping I'll roll on my left side, and it'll start to hurt, and then my left arm will get numb...damn!...I aint ready to die fellas.
