is it just me or does it seem like the majority of religious people have absolutely NO common sense

coming from a religious family (mom been in church since she was in 14 and goes 3 times a week), you live a very sheltered life. i remember when i was a teenager i was allowed to watch rated r movies, and even BET/MTV sometimes. hell they literally put a lock on the cable box that i had to pick like a thief in the night.
pentacostals dont even believe in having a tv in their home etc. Most religious get so wrapped up in the bible they lose their street smarts imo.
